Very cute cottage! AMAZING VIEWS! BETTER THAN THE PICTURES! The hostess was very charming and helpful. She took the time to make suggestions as to where to go. Because of her, we saw thousands of puffins. She told us where to go! The food at the restaurant was next level GOURMET! Worth every penny!

A very nice farm stay in a lava field! It is located on the way to Húsavík where we headed early next morning for a whale watching tour followed by lunch and a wonderful visit to Asbyrgi canyon. As this was roughly the halfway point of our trip, we were able to do laundry (line dry on a rack).

We stayed in a room with an attached bathroom that was relatively new and modern and took advantage of the outside hot tub because of our unexpected arrival in the afternoon. The restaurant met expectations and the lamb tagine was especially good.

We loved the cabin location,view of mountains, glacier, ocean. Very peaceful and tranquil. Liked the experience of staying on property of a local family. It was close to so many places to go.

The mattresses on the bunk beds were very hard and the queen bed felt lumpy and too firm. Some seating in the room would have been a nice upgrade too.

The shower was broken. We couldn't take showers because the knob on the hot water part of the shower was broken. We weren't told that up front, so we wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to turn the hot water on. After, spending close to an hour trying to figure it out, we had to leave to make it to our excursion on time. As we were leaving, bags packed up, and in the car, the owner offered a shower in another room. Obviously, we didn't have the time to unpack and go take showers and make it to our next appointment. We would not stay here again, being that we encountered amazing accommodations throughout Iceland in the 15 days we stayed there.
