The design and comfort of the rooms was exceptional. The bathroom had a spacious shower with a standing and a separate removable shower head—perfect for washing off the sand from the beach. Beach towels were provided for guests and left on the bathroom shelves. The design of the hotel was charming, with hallways opening to the outdoors at either end of the property. We heard howler monkeys nearby in the mornings and evenings 😀The beachfront restaurant area had comfortable dining and seating: excellent view of the ocean. The lounge chairs, hammocks and outdoor seating on the beachfront were plentiful and within the shade of trees. Of course, anyone who wanted could pull the lounge chairs into the sun on the sand, if they wanted. Staff were helpful and courteous at all times.

The staff was amazing and helpful. Really wonderful people. Great pool. Apartments are a great size. Easy access location The design of the building is cool because though being right on street you can't hear much of traffic and being at pool feels pretty secluded. Nice sunny pool deck. Walkable to the tiny downtown stores. Get your laundry done here too!

The beds were a bit lumpy sort of felt like a futon. Still can hear road noise at night. Tiny tiny bathroom with no fan.

Just sitting on the porch watching so many different birds while hearing the sound of the Pacific is worth the trip to Drake bay. You will fall asleep to the sound of waves.

If you come to the jungle, it will feel like you are in the jungle. Expect high humidity and tiny little ants that crawl in your bed if you don’t use bug spray.
Fortuna, Costa Rica

The property is beautiful, located on the base of the volcano, and is great value for the cost. Our kids especially loved the water slides and hopping from pool to pool.

The property is spread out and very steep, so you almost need a car or to wait for the shuttle to go between the pools and most rooms. The shuttle can take awhile, which was a little frustrating.

Price was way too high for the quality of accommodations. Rooms were quite rundown and not very clean. We had some stains on the bedding and had to change rooms once. Rooms didn’t offer much privacy as they are ground level with paths on both sides.

The elevator doesn’t work . There was no electricity in half of the day no hot water or no water at all on half of the day the food in the restaurant it’s horrible. I do not recommend to nobody to get and spend money about this place. !!!!!!
