I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Uruhao. The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

The rooms are spacious with tall ceilings and they are very clean! Of all the places we stayed in Chile, the attention to cleanliness here was the best. Breakfast was standard: meat, cheese, bread and eggs, with juice, yogurt, pastry, and basic fruit. We appreciated that the breakfast room was always available for hot drinks and we enjoyed relaxing the in the guest lounge. The hotel took care of our laundry (for an extra fee) which was greatly appreciated!

Amazing location, within a 2 min walk from the main street (Caracoles) and it is the same street where all the tours end-up. Another highlight is the staff manager, Xiaolin, who is extremely supportive and friendly, in addition of having 3 cute dogs! The rooms are comfortable, with decent shower and good beds (warms as well). Breakfast is another nice feature, with a wide variety of cookies, crackers, teas, coffees and breads - available 24 hours a day.

The 1st room that we have stayed at was in an area within the lodge that is apart from the main-building (~100 meters), and is under remodeling. The path to get there is dark at night and with rocks in the floor that make it hard to carry your luggage. The room is really big, but the space is poorly used, with 3 beds in the same room and no place for hang your cloth or cabinets. The toilet is also big, but so big that you end up feeling cold during your shower. It was great if you need more privacy. Xialion, the property manager, immediately changed us for another room upon our request, and this one was perfect!

This hotel was excellent! Great location (public transport at less than 3 minutes walking, same as supermarket and other shops). The staff friendly and the facilities clean and comfortable. The breakfast really good! All was great at Holiday Inn Express!

Perfectly situated in San Pedro de Atacama! Close to numerous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops! Super friendly staff, great facilities, and the convenience of biking to get around the town easier.

The hotel needs several repairs, it’s not well maintained. Everything is very dark and cold. The room wasn’t properly cleanded. The maid came to our room at 2:30 PM, even though I had requested the cleaning service personally at the front desk when we left the hotel early in the morning. At breakfast the table isn’t set snd there’s never anyone around to assist you. Same thing at the pool. It seems like they are understaffed.
