Fabulous property located just off the high street of San Pedro. Beautiful courtyard garden, shaded by trees, lovely outdoor furniture for relaxing. Small swimming pool with loungers around but water too cold to go in. We had a very nice garden room which was nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts were great and the kitchen staff were delightful. Tea, coffee and drinking water available around the clock. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this restful hotel.

I’m petite and always, always cold, so I chose this hotel specifically because the listing said the rooms were heated. This was technically true, but the heating is centrally controlled and only turned on at 9 PM each night. By that time the room was so cold it never warmed up before I went to sleep, so I shivered every night while getting ready for bed and certainly couldn’t sit and enjoy a book. Also, there wasn’t anywhere to put my suitcase except the bed or the floor next to it, so I opened it on the floor. That was fine, except the (very nice and efficient) cleaning crew moved my things every day to make the bed.

Colorful property steps from the main street. Rooms are bright and clean, and the staff offers extra towels if you’re planning to visit the thermal baths or other sights where swimming is an option. Breakfast is basic but solid, and it was nice having an electric grill for turning your plain ham-and-cheese sammy into a warm and crispy grilled cheese. And if your tour is scheduled to depart before the 7-10 breakfast hours, just let them know the night before and they’ll pack you a modest breakfast to go.

The common area and the pool were cozy and comfy with the sun light the whole day. You can seat and relax. The people that work at the place were super friendly and informative. The place was clean and neat but at the same time rustic.

Water coolers around the property in the hot desert was a great bonus. Location away from the main drag but still walkable to everything. Helpful staff and good communication via WhatsApp. Included breakfast was nice, we appreciated the fruit selection.

The king bed could be switched for a queen and this would allow more room as the space was limited.

The hotel was centrally located but off the beaten track so that all was quiet. We loved all the extras such as the quiet garden and the pool. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They allowed a check out extension so that we could spend the afternoon at the pool. Breakfast was great. The essentials such as comfortable bed clean room were super.

The hotel was great! Very close to Caracoles (main street). The rooms were confortable and had everything we needed, including a safebox. The pool and external area were great and cozy. Breakfast was great and the kitchen staff was amazing, super friendly. I really liked that the hotel had water filters throughout the hotel, this reduces plastics bottles and having to buy water all the time (I drink a lot of water, and even more in the dry weather of the desert). The staff of the hotel (Elizabete and Carlos) were amazing - they went above and beyond and were very friendly. All in all, would definitely return and loved Hotel Jardin Atacama.

The rooms were very clean. The sand from the desert, easily brought in with your shoes and especially.with hiking boots, is swept and mopped from your floor daily! Great esthetic. Public area also very nice. Outdoor sitting spaces not depicted in lead photo as there now is an arbor or mature trees, maybe both?! WiFi is solid, tho no zoom/team meetings attempted. The kitchen and cleaning staff were consistently welcoming and kind. The front desk staff is not as consistent in the above manner. The room we had was of excellent value and just a smidge too small for ease of movement. One def. had to use public spaces to sit in a chair.

This is a quaint little oasis in San Pedro. The garden area is nice and it had a great pool with sun loungers. Don’t come here looking for cable TV and air conditioning, there isn’t any. The breakfast was first rate with cooked to order eggs, cereals and fresh fruit, coffee available 24/7. The staff were excellent and helped us out with travel arrangements. It’s not the cheapest in San Pedro but worth the money.

There is no ACs in the rooms, and the place gets really hot. But it looks like AC is not a thing in San Pedro, so maybe my expectations were too high.

The location is great, close to many restaurants and tour company offices. Helpful staff.

No Air conditioning only room fan and no possibility to open windows, unless directly onto a common outdoor corridor which is not ideal. Breakfast should have been available at 7am.. The staff didn't even turn up until 07:05 and it wasn't ready for another 15 minutes.. a bit late if you are being picked up at 7:30!
