To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

RussiaConvenient location of the hotel, close to the station, all attractions can be reached on foot, there are many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. There is a sitting area downstairs where you can use a microwave, kettle and refrigerator. Pleasant, helpful staff who speak excellent English. The room is designed in a Scandinavian-ascetic style, suitable for a short stay.

United KingdomIt was quite noisy so didn’t sleep very well. The hotel actually did provide ear plugs so this is obviously a well known problem. Breakfast was okay but not to my taste which is more my problem than theirs!
Very good location in the centre of everything! Very accommodating staff who let us store the luggage before and after check in and check out. Also good that breakfast was included.

Nice hotel. Well located in the center of Zurich. Near from quantities of bars and resto. Employees were very smily and sympathetic. Small bedroom. But clearly no need more when we are all the time outside. Tea and coffee available all the time. Everything was OK for me. I recommend and will not hesitate to go back there again

United States of AmericaNot a lot of charm/romantic/cosy place No reception on Sundays after 3pm, the key drop system at the entrance worked well but you have to find instructions in your booking messages, which creates additional stress when you're already quite tired after your travels.
Great breakfast buffet, perfect location close to the main railway station, really clean, has everything you need. Very reasonnably priced. In one word: Convenient.

The location close to the railway station is just perfect. Many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, all tourist attractions are at a walking distance. The staff are really nice.

Perfect location, 5-10 min walk away from main touristic areas/buildings. Breakfast is ok, but could be better. Nice to have free coffee/tea at the lobby. Very nice and friendly staff. Wifi was good.
