The decor was a little old fashioned. Elevator needs renovation - but it worked.

It was really nice place in good location. We really appreciate personnel’s help. Breakfast was nice. Big free parking was a great advance.

Friendly staff. Room was clean and smelt amazing. Got given a free upgrade to the view of Lake Thun. Brilliant view to wake up to every morning. Only a 10 minute bus journey away from Interlaken.

It would have been great to have a little fridge in the room but everything else was perfect.

Lovely stay! I was here for one night for a work event - reception staff were lovely and very helpful. My German is poor and we communicated in English. The breakfast was gorgeous - lots of variety in food offered. Ample parking across the road. The views were absolutely stunning, from the bedroom and from the breakfast room. Very quiet early in the morning - first coffee of the day on the balcony with the lake right in front of you - bliss!

The breakfast was open from 7:30-10:00, i arrived at 9:00 and a lot of things were finished. Almost all of the “warm food” such as egg, bacon and more were eaten up and not filled up again. I would reccomend getting there earlier, to get more choices.

The hotel was great, very pretty and clean. The staff was also really sweet.

Carpeted floors and walls were a little moldy. Late in September in this region gets cold and the heating system was not yet working.

Disturbed by the noise of the lift. Very expensive, but all hotels in the area were fully booked.

We were able to book only 1 hour before we visited. However, this was only available via the Booking website and we would have preferred to book direct. Fairly small room, although clean and comfortable. We had room 109 - almost next to the lift and we were disturbed by the noise until midnight. Evening meal was very good and the staff very pleasant.

Noise of cars and train crossing but if I look out for the view I can manage that noise. TV was very small i did not switched it on.

Breathtaking view from the balcony of the room seeying the beautiful Lake Thun. 10-12 minutes drive to Interlaken and property offers free parking and is pet friendly too. They gave us an upgraded room with an outsanding view. Breakfast was also decent. Overall really like the property

It is quite expensive but compared to other swiss accommodations its still in a good price range.

The room was clean. The beds were comfy. We had a little balcony which was facing the village. The hotel is really close to the lake where we had a morning swim after breakfast. The breakfast was also super! And the receptionists are very welcoming and nice. Thank you for everything!

No opportunity to choose the room. Poor breakfast and they took taxes additional to taxes mentioned in Booking. Total amount in Booking includes taxes. There is no reason to request additional taxes

The only down side of this hotel is that it's very close to a railway line where trains pass well into the night. This did wake us up during the night, however it didn't really bother us. The only reason I didn't score this hotel a 10 is because they could do better at maintaining the nice garden space they have outside where the loungers and table-tennis are (cut the grass, tidy up the terrace etc).

We were very pleased with our large family room (slept 6) which was split in 1 double room, with an additional room (not separated by a door) with two sets of bunk beds. The room had a large balcony which also seated 6 around a table, with a beautiful view of Lake Thunersee. This lovely friendy family-run hotel had everything we needed, including games to play, outdoor table-tennis table, sun loungers, etc. The hotel restaurant served large portions of quality food (indoor or outdoor seating). On Saturday we were delighted to find a special fish/shellfish buffet served by the hotel chefs. Lovely food and at a great price for hotel guests. The location us great for people who are looking to explore the famous sights of Lautebrunnen, Grindelwald etc and/or get active in the mountains.
