There was no soap in the individual rooms, and the cabinets supposedly worked with 2 CHF coins (which we did not have at hand) - although they were locked in our rooms so we wouldn't have been able to use them anyways.

Comfortable bed, nice staff, quite neighbourhood, breakfast provided, flexibility with check in.

The bus gets there only every hour. Then you have to walk up the hill with luggage. They do not share many tips with us. It was off season and we had to learn how the bus system works by ourselves. The receptionist that checked us in did not speak English.

I stayed there in May. Booked a private room with shared toilets/shower. It’s ridiculously expensive. Toilets, showers, rooms are outdated. The hostel is not homely and cosy as some of the other Swiss hostels are. (Perhaps this is because it’s offered as a skiing accommodation as well and carpets and sofas aren’t very practical then). Wouldn’t go again. Also think St Moritz itself is ridiculously overrated. Did a lovely hike there but the Dorf is laughable with its prices and the shops of Hermes, Prada etc. There are many nicer and friendlier dörfchen in Switzerland.

Breakfast was very good. Friendly personnel in the kitchen. Most of the receptionists were also very friendly and adequate. The hostel is divided in different hallways so they can separate huge groups (tour) from the other guests which I think is nice.

Switzerland is eye-wateringly expensive so this accommodation - whilst basic - was a welcome alternative. Staff were very friendly and the place was spotless.

The lighting in the room was a bit dim. That's it. The rest was great.

We had a private room and it was generously sized, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Large opening windows and excellent heating made sure we could control the temperature to our liking. Lots of storage space and a sink in the room. The food was excellent! I was sceptical about it before arrival, but it was delicious and well worth the price. Recommended. The bus stop is literally at the front door, and it connects to the St Moritz Station in minutes, via the supermarket. Very convenient.

Check in seemed to be unnecessarily lengthy, complicated and only after 1700. Sleep and ski was for 7 days/nights, but two days/nights I was traveling from Crans-Montana and to Ticino. 6-7 hours trips just on the trains. I used the washer downstairs with the help of the front desk clerk; however, my ski clothes came out soaking wet and when I checked where the powdered detergent was added, it was still there. Then I used the dryer for a couple of hours. My ski clothes were still soaking wet. I told the front desk that I thought both machines were broken and in need of repair. In addition, I would not be able to ski unless my clothes were dry. I asked for a refund and was told to return in the morning. I did and was told to wait until later to ask someone in charge. Several times I stopped by the desk and no one was able to issue me a refund for the ski pass. When I checked out, I pointed out that I had been there many times. They said I had to be there the first day. I was at the desk about 2 hours after I checked in. So I am disappointed with their utter lack of customer service. Also, because I did not book directly with them, I could not have a member discount. CM was an entirely different customer service experience; they were amazing.

in SM Bad surrounded by forest. Lots of windows. Bus 9 stops right at the front door. Easy to get your skis and then climb aboard. Fondue dinner the first night in the main dining room rather than the fondue room. Cheese was good, so so bread. Breakfast was fine. Perhaps dried fruit could be added for the muesli. Bread should be from the bakery and not mass produced. Another dinner-ok. Room ok. Roommates very nice and polite. Beds were fair and mattresses quite soft. Ok linen. Light and electricity access a bit convoluted. Showers and toilets were private and clean. Housekeeping cordial, kind and professional.

First time staying at a hostel, so maybe this was my fault, but towels were only available at an additional small cost CHF 3.

Friendly and prompt support from the staff. Please check for discounted ski pass and other activities while you are staying. Easily accessible with a bus stop right in front.

The vibe last year was more for young adults and this year changed to family friendly. Not sure if the owners changed…

You have to removed the bed sheets and pillow case and bring it with you downstairs. Youngsters put it there in the laundry area.

Bus stop is in front of the hostel. Free breakfast was good.

Not enough bathrooms - only one toilet for the hall. Hand soap dispenser did not work. Very expensive for a youth hostel.

Good option for a night in St. Moritz. Nice breakfast in the morning. Beds were comfortable.
