A coffee maker or small fridge would have enriched our stay.

The breakfast was very good and the fresh warm breads were very appreciated. Catching the free bus just outside the hotel was so convenient and only 15 minutes to downtown Lucerne and the train station.

We arrived late at night but the owner made it super easy for self check-in and sent all the information ahead of time. The breakfast was excellent with fresh bread and croissants, eggs made to order and more. This is a great place to stay right outside of the center of Lucerne for a few nights or if you're just stopping by

It would be nice if there is a small table with 2 chairs in the bedroom.

Big, clean and spacious bedroom. 20 mins bus ride to Luzern, bus stop is right outside the property. Bathroom is spacious and clean.

Can't think of anything we did not like, maybe the lack of air conditioning, since we went in the summer. But the region is usually fresh after sunset and all we needed to do was to open the window for a few minutes to make the room temperature pleasant.

Incredible view of the lake and mountains. The owner runs everything very efficiently. It was flawless. He was very kind, nice, polite, efficient. The hotel has a great atmosphere. Makes you feel good being there. My family loved it. We took 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the hotel. So we had both views and both were lovely. Free car park right in front of the hotel is certainly a lovely bonus.

Location was a little out of Lucerne, wasn’t much around, pillows too soft, hot so struggled to sleep even with a fan. No tea/coffee making facilities or bar on evening.

Awakened in the morning by the sun over the mountains shining through the window at the end of the bed - it couldn't be better. There is a bus ticket on the house that takes you to the city in 15 minutes.

There is no air conditioner in the bedroom and the check in was a bit late.

The place was wonderful, the room was big and the staff were amazing and kind. The breakfast was good and tasty.

Not a thing!

Super big room, host was exceptional in meeting our needs. Host provided an extra fan for the room and was always helpful. Location was great as there was a bus stop right outside the Gasthaus. Bus pass was provided from the hotel and it only took about 15 minutes to get downtown. Plenty of parking spaces for your car too. Breakfast buffet was super!

We loved everything! Great accommodation, nice rooms, we liked the location. Robert was really helpful with all our needs. Breakfast was very tasty. 10 min bus ride to the city centre, where's the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

It's an older property with sloping floors, but it is filled with charm. We loved it and prefer a property with character.

Robert was the best host of our entire two week trip! He speaks perfect English and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was a nice treat and was a nice relaxed way to start our days. The hotel is about ten minutes from Lucerne, but there's a bus that stops at the hotel several times every hour. Loved the hotel and would go there again.

A little far from downtown Lucerne, but free provided bus tickets made up for it.

Nice Swiss hotel with a great breakfast! The location was beautiful and the price reasonable. It is a great place to take a walk down by the lake, and there is a great Thai restaurant by the train station that is a short walk from the hotel. The owner named Robert really helped make our stay very pleasant.
