We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyI have traveled a lot while living in Germany for four years, including hundreds of hotel stays. This hotel was the friendliest one I have experienced. The front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and a short four-minute walk from the train station. I would undoubtedly stay here again.

United KingdomThere was no curtain on the glass door out to the balcony. This didn’t bother me at all but it might bother other people. Would have been nice to have more pillows on the bed.
More or less everything was as it should be. I like the fact that you could cook your own eggs at breakfast and there was a good selection of breads. The staff were all very nice indeed and the hotel was quiet amid beautiful scenery.

SwitzerlandI had a fantastic stay at the Edelweiss Hotel in Wengen! Here's why I highly recommend it: Skiier's Paradise: The hotel's proximity to the slopes was ideal. No long treks to get to the first lifts, which meant more time enjoying the amazing Jungfrau region. Warm Hospitality: The staff at the Edelweiss were fantastic! They were friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. Fueling Up for Adventures: The breakfast was delicious, providing the perfect fuel for a day of exploring the mountains. Delectable Evenings: The hotel's dinner was a highlight, especially the fondue! It was a delicious way to end a day of adventure. Relaxation Station: Having a free sauna to use after a day on the slopes was pure bliss. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe tired muscles. Overall, the Edelweiss Hotel provided a comfortable, welcoming, and convenient base for my Swiss Alps adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Wengen!

Location and food were great but more importantly was the staff manner. So nice and helpful that you feel you are between your friends. Lots of valuable information about the area and where to go and what to see. I would definitely go there again even if it’s just for the hotel experience.

We spent 5 nights in this naturally awe-inspiring setting. All hotel staff were exceptionally hospitable, informative, helpful and spoke English well. They greeted us each morning with a report on conditions in the mountains and village. It was only a 10-minute walk in hiking boots up to the cable car station, where you could rent and store ski gear. We ate meals at the hotel often and the service was great. Breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. Dinners were four courses of simply delicious dishes made using some local ingredients. The south-facing view from the balcony of our second-floor room was spectacular. Everything was kept clean and tidy. Loved the privacy in the sauna, and the other cozy gathering rooms.

United StatesThis room had the best view of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about Wengen. The steep up hill walk to the train was hard the first time but got better and always worth it. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner at their restaurant twice and it was fabulous. The rooms were clean, not large and the bathroom was very small but otherwise perfect accommodations. The hotel was very convenient to all the trams and trains. Loved the view from our balcony, the food and this beautiful village of Wengen.

GermanyI booked the hotel around December christmas time, which was really expensive. And I didn't use the balcony at all, cuz it was too cold. I thought this was a waste of money and someone who wanna visit here should also think about it. In this aspect value for money is pretty bad.
The staff was very friendly, thoughtful and nice. The view from the balkony was awesome, although the other hotel disturbed a bit. We had a dinner (around 35 CHF) at the hotel and it was really good (4 course menu). The Wifi was very fast and the room was clean and comfy. Toiletry products are well prepared and I didn't have to use my owns at all.

The hotel has a great location with views of Jungfrau. The hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel owner (not sure if it is) was very warm and humorous at the reception, actively introduced the tour route, and was very detailed. The room is big, too. The front of the hotel is open and comfortable. The only drawback leaving the hotel and climbing with the line is very tiring. Dinner reservations available
