Good central location a short walk to a good range of bars, restaurants and many of the famous sights of Bruges. The breakfast was excellent and very good value. The hotel is in a very old building so allowances have to be made for the facilities, having said that our room and the breakfast room was comfortable and clean. Stairs were ok for us but no lift available so less able guests may struggle.

The room is very small, but that's not a problem when you're exploring the city all day.

Could just remove the bathtub, it’s hard to hop in and out. And it’s dangerous especially for Seniors.

Very friendly staff, basic but nice rooms with all amenities. A couple of minutes walk from the centre, shops and restaurants all around, but in a quiet street with very little passage.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk from the main square. Room was very clean and warm. Bed was really comfortable. Owner/Manager Maarten was very helpful throughout our stay and gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants etc. I left my gloves behind me and Maarten very kindly arranged for them to be posted back to me. Would absolutely recommend Hotel Van Eyck for your trip to Bruges.

This hotel is underrated. I had a great stay here! The room is exactly what you see in the pictures. It's clean, comfortable, and the location can't be beat. You're a 5 minute walk from the Market Place and surrounded by great shops, restaurants, and only about 10 minutes away from the bus headed into the train station (or you can walk there in about 20 minutes). As a solo female traveller, I felt comfortable walking around at all hours and had no concerns. Totally worth it and a great price.

There was nothing we did not like. It would have been a bonus to have had tea/coffee facility in the room, but it certainly was not a big deal.

Lovely friendly l proprietor. His hotel was a beautifu,l atmospheric, period building with a splendid spiral staircase. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and cinnamon bread cake was delicious. Brilliant central location.

It was a small room, but it’s what we expected and absolutely fine for one night.

Excellent location and very convenient parking at the Zilverpand car park (beats touring the city looking for parking!). For the rating it was excellent value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The room was really, really small and the bathroom as well. It doesn't have air conditioning, just a fan that we had to keep on all night (we stayed in late June). You are somewhat at the mercy of other clients because you can hear everything outside your room.

The design of the interior is really interesting. Has a 16th century vibe. The staff was nice and welcoming, allowing us to store our luggage until our room was ready. The location is 5 minutes walking distance from the main square. The room was clean and committed to the whole design of the hotel.
