The hotel is located in old Baku and it was a great spot to stay. Miss Gunay was very helpful and supportive and she definitely helped improve our experience.

Initially there was an issue with drainage smell in the room but that was immediately addressed.

Our stay at Shah Place Hotel was amazing. The staff at check in Ali was very accommodative and welcoming. We were upgraded to a superior room as our originaly booked room had a smell issue. They were quickly addressed the issue by upgrading us. At the time of check out we requested for an extension and even that was agreed. Overall very happy with the stay, excellent location and would highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Although Jacuzzi was mentioned in the selected room amenities but it was not part of the room facility. very less Number of water bottles were provided which were not sufficient for a day.Every day we used to buy the bottles. Ac was switched off throughout our stay..

Nothing major. Some constructive comments for hotel management to look at: - Improve breakfast food quality - Light smell coming from the bathroom upon flushing the toilet. - Ensuite shower room works, but needs slight maintainence

We stayed in Presidential Palace, such a spacious and luxorious room. Great value for what you pay. The room in reality is sparkling clean, antique furniture, looks way better than photos. Its more like King and Queen suite, perfect for couples. In room private Jaccuzzi is the main highlight of the room. Perfect for relaxing after long walks exploring the city. All staff are extremely polite and helpful. Building is clean and well maintained. Elevator available. Location is right at the entrance of old city gates. Hotel is in the center point between old city and fountain square, making both accessible with few steps.

There were a couple of downsides. Construction noise from the 4th floor was a bit disruptive, and there were occasional issues with the bathroom drainage system.

It was a delightful experience. The location couldn’t have been better, with major attractions within walking distance. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming. The included breakfast was a highlight, and the refreshing smell in the lobby added to the pleasant ambiance.

The breakfast - what is so difficult about it! Poor selection of food, no nice presentation, mediocre service...

It was not my first stay at this hotel - and I really enjoyed the stay again. The location in the heart of the old town is just amazing as well as the historical building. We had a suite with plenty of space and it was very comfortable. The pick-up service from the airport is also very recommendable as well as the visit of the sauna + turkish bath in combination with a massage from Zeinab, which my girlfriend and me both highly enjoyed.
