To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThe 100 dollar per night per room additional bond. Makes it difficult book multiple rooms for long stays as our business needs so that will cause a future problem for larger travel groups.
good location for work and plenty of amenities and other services close to the property. Also has good space to have larger meeting in the open area with bar and food service available until 10pm

Excellent location in the CBD with good river view. Good sized room with a spacious bathroom and a large, comfortable bed. Fully equipped as one would expect. Two restaurants with reasonably priced food. Good gym and pool.

AustraliaLoud noise whenever showers/plumbing used on floors above. No re-stocking of milk or tea bags and no way of washing up used cups etc but cups not replaced with clean ones either. Beds not re-made properly each day. Pav Bar food very average and not worth the money.
Reception staff & concierge were great. Room was a good size. Pool was lovely. Breakfast included. Location very handy.
