Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA truly wonderful place to stay. Our room was airy, clean , plainly but comfortably furnished, the bed was equally spacious and comfortable, the bathroom large and spotless. The guest rooms are in a quiet location, part of the winery buildings, overseeing a tranquil yard with flowers and vines, this is the perfect place to relax, with excellent access to hiking trails and only 5 minutes by car to Eisenstadt. The proprietor / winery owner was very friendly and helpful. In the lounge/breakfast room, a selection of the winery's wines and brandy awaits for tasting, by the glass, extremely reasonably priced! We will definitely come back to Weingut Tinhof in our next visit in Eisenstadt. Much recommended.

The owning family of the vineyard is very friendly and helpful. The vineyard is located in a very calm quarter but is very good approachable by public transportation (urban bus line "Gregor"). My room was very big and was even equipped with a sofa and a coffee table. The breakfast was very good, too.

GermanyWe were a bit disapointed that there was no where we could sit and enjoy a drink as no bar facility open. We were also disapointed that there was no kitchen for an evening meal, we had to go to the only open establishment in the area which was about 350 m down the road. When the weather was rotten, not too pleasant.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and value for money. Located in a quiet area and breakfasts were good. Close to the bus route which offered free trips into town. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaIt was a little confusing for us when we first arrived. We weren't sure where to park, or if we were supposed to walk in through the big doors, or what we were supposed to do when we got there. Noone was there to ask when we arrived, which was fine, we just weren't sure what to do. With that said, we were able to message them through booking.com, and they were very quick to respond, and we were able to get it all figured out. We are Americans and it was our first day in Austria. What to do might have been more obvious to someone from the area, or someone more familiar with traveling in the area. Overall, the stay was great!
Walking off of the street through the large doors into Winzerzimmer - Weingut Tinhof was like walking into a beautiful, serene oasis. It was just lovely! We had two rooms. They were both clean and comfortable. Everything was very relaxed. Breakfast was yummy and fresh. We liked the location and neighborhood. If you are looking to stay in the city center, it is a ways out, but still an easy nine-minute drive. We ended up having to drive into Eisenstadt for dinner. There was a restaurant nearby, but it was closed for a private event. There was a small grocery store within walking distance, which was convenient. When we left, we wished we had booked a few more nights here.

United KingdomEverything was fine!!
We had a lovely few days at the Weingut. Breakfast was very good with many homemade items. The room was superb. There was a fridge in the breakfast room from which one could sign for items at any time. The wine tasting was excellent and it was really interesting to see the wine production methods and cellars.
