The WIFI signal was very weak in my room so I was forced to work on the couch located opposite of the reception.

Clean hotel at a superb location with helpful staff at the entrance to the famous high alpine road and in walking distance to a beautiful waterfall. Free entrance to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. I had to leave very early, before breakfast so I got proactively offered a meal pack that I could take with me. Excellent value for the money!!

very overpriced because of the location i guess overall experience was ok but not more than that in the check-in you have to search the staff location on the road itself - no places to go

the room was ok staff was ok location near the glosglocner road - very helpful

I really liked our hosts. They were really friendly and helpful. Food and drink were both great too as was the view from my room. Shower was great too. Perfect location for the Grossglockner.

A few steps too many for anyone with mobility problems. Although there is a lift.

A warm welcome and good service from the staff. I had a comfortable room. There was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet.

The breakfast has deteriorated, in the past there used to be more choice for breakfast. Worse mattress, they would need to be replaced.

    Nothing

We chose this hotel for 2 nights on a motorcycle tour because of its location at the foot of the Grossglockner Pass and a pass to ride this toll road was included in the room price. Off street parking with no charge. We had breakfast and dinner and both were good, the trout was very fresh, straight out of the tank! Attractive rooms with balconies.

But only the speed of the wifi is slow maybe because of the location of my room and it is not quiet in the room because it is just at the stairs, I could listen to everyone's steps clearly. It is hard to fall asleep before everyone is back in the room.

I love the waterfall view and everything in the hotel. There are small waterfall within walk distance and the day we lived there rained a little bit, so the scenery is awesome it is like you live in the fairy tale. The staff are nice and friendly, the food are tasty and the room are quite clean.

The hotel room itself is not special , the interior is a little outdated but the Mountain View makes up for it. The bathroom was quite small but it was ok. The balcony chairs were dusty so we couldn’t use them. Playground behind the hotel was full of spider webs and dust (not clean enough to be used by a child. The breakfast did not have many hot items but was sufficient to start our day (juices, cereals, cheeses and a great coffee machine)

The location is prime- it is on the way to the high alpine road (just before the toll gate) and close to zell am see lake where we could easily drive to and from. There is a beautiful wild life park few minutes from the hotel and the best part is that the hotel provided us with a summer guest card that allowed us free admission to the park (usually 9.5 euro per person) as well as free toll pass to the high alpine road (usually it’s around 36 euro per car). So those were very attractive offers that come with the booking. The card allows the guest free access to other things too.

The furniture is old. The chairs are unstable. When the wife sat down, the chair broke and the wife was injured. The bed is old, creaky. Sound insulation of the windows is poor. You can hear all the cars passing by.

Prepare your taste buds for a rollercoaster of mediocrity at this hotel's dinner extravaganza. The culinary escapade left us pondering whether 'Awefull' is a new, avant-garde spelling that somehow translates to 'unforgettable.' The staff orchestrating this gourmet tragedy seemed to have perfected the art of making guests feel like they stumbled into a parallel universe where good food and warm hospitality are mere myths. Let's address the elephant in the room—or should I say, the dated and strangely scented room? The accommodations transported us to a bygone era, where furniture trends and aroma choices apparently defied logic. Ah, the scent of nostalgia... or was it just the scent? Breakfast, the supposed champion of morning repasts, delivered a knockout punch to our eggpectations (pun intended). Alas, no scrambled eggs graced our plates. Perhaps they were on vacation, seeking refuge in a more egg-friendly establishment. In conclusion, our stay can be summarized as an intriguing experiment in adjusting our standards to match the hotel's unique approach to hospitality. If 'forgettable' is what you seek on your travels, look no further. For those with a passion for time travel, both in furnishings and olfactory sensations, this might be your Shangri-La. Bon appétit, intrepid travelers!"

While they offer two family rooms and say select the one you want on booking, we were given the one we didn’t want. If we had known this in advance we would have stayed elsewhere. As they took payment in advance there was no option to go elsewhere. The room we had (with the sofa bed) was not suitable for a family. There is limited full height ceiling space in the room and you have to crouch to get in and out of bed and the sofa bed. Some very sore bangs on heads were had. We did ask to be moved, but met with little interest in resolving.

Excellent location for Grossglockner. Lovely view from our room out the back of the hotel (we didn’t have a balcony but wasn’t expecting one). Enjoyable breakfast.
