Probably the best hostel we have ever stayed in. We had a private twin room, comfy beds, pitch black skylight cover. Beautiful location, amazing outdoor pool area and very nice terrace bar with gelato outside. Mar was an incredible hostess, the kitchen was truly exceptional. Such an important extra facility given that restaurants are sparse and expensive. Super clean and tidy - the cleaning lady and pool / outdoor man worked really hard to keep it lovely. Pool is warm, spa bubbles at times, lovely view. Genuinely an amazing stay! Recommend - go to the big supermarket 10 mins walk away, it is extensive and cheaper than the local one. Hikes and walks are abundant nearby.

Everything was just great! The first thing is that the staff is super nice and kind. Then chill atmosphere, big kitchen, all the spaces super clean, the pool with perfect maintenance and great view. Hostel easy to reach (even without a car) and in a very good position, great hikes all around. I stayed two weeks and wanted stay more. There is also a right amount of beds so the whole hostel doesn't get too crowded, you can have some personal space easily.

I didn't like the smell added to the sauna water. (It was a small thing just to put something here :))) )

The Jacuzzi and Sauna in the evenings after skiing was perfect and the living room area with a big TV was great for watching the World Cup final. Amazing place all round!

Mountain Hostel Tartar exceeded my expectations in every way. The hostel was just as lovely as the owners. Personalized letters waiting upon arrival and the owners met every single traveler who came through.

This hostel really exceeded my expectations. Bed was supercomfy, location easily accessible by public transportation, everything was spotless and the host was so friendly! Beautiful mountain view from the terrace. One of the best hostels I've stayed at and will definitely stay there again when visiting Andorra.

The staff in the hostel are very welcoming and accommodating. Any issues or questions I had they did everything they could to help me. The hostel is kept very clean and the kitchen and living area is very modern and comfortable. The location is perfect, a short walk to the chair lifts and supermarkets/ bars and restaurants. El Tarter is a very nice calm village but also has some nice apres if that's what your looking for!

The combination of a large terras in the sun, great food and drinks that are served from an outdoor kitchen, a pool, sauna and a huge playground in front of the nicely restored authentic Andorre farm, makes this hostel unique! The room was nice and clean and Mar (the host) is one of the friendliest person in the world. She welcomes you in a way that you really makes you feel home at once!
