Located in the center of Majdanpek, Golden Inn Hotel is surrounded by greenery. It features a lush garden with barbecue facilities and a children’s playground. We received room upgrade from Double room to Suite. Largest bed ever (made from 1double bed and 1 single) Although the hotel was build in the '70s (as per reception information), it's nice to see they're renovating rooms, but keeping the former style. Marble countertop furniture was reconditioned and is looking really great. Huge breakfast (cheese, vegetables, omelette, meat selection, croissants, butter, jam, orange juice and yogurt) and even if tea and coffee were not included, it didn't bother us (I think you could order and pay extra) Friendly staff. We were grateful they were willing to make us some warm sandwiches although the kitchen was closing when we arrived (around 10 pm). The hosts are really understanding since friends of ours did not show up due to medical reasons and only charged us for one apartment instead of two. It is well equipped and everything is new. Relaxing at the patio with such view is awesome :) The beds where so pretty prepared, decorated with flowers- we felt very welcomed. The owners are great couple and I can honestly say, they treat guests as family. I would like to come back to Danubius apartment. There are lovely places to see around, and because of lack of time, we didn't manage to see everything.
