I had asked them to reserve the room with a sea view for me to celebrate my wedding anniversary; and, despite the well-known policies of hotels, for which it is impossible to be sure of a specific room, they not only accommodated me but had a bottle of sparkling wine with a HANDWRITTEN message of welcome and best wishes for our anniversary! Exceptional, all in all. From the comfort of the room to the fantastic breakfast. These days finding a 4-star hotel that really lives up to the hype is difficult; the Memmo Hotel seems almost like an old-fashioned hotel, when staying in a hotel was an experience in itself. Thank you Memmo and all the staff, we will definitely be back

Great for families with young children. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The entire hotel are maintained and clean and tidy condition

Laurus - Charming House is located in Raposeira, 3.6 miles from Santo António Golf Course and 10 miles from Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. A very nice clean up to date in terms of technology house. Also very strategically positioned for you to have a refreshing swim in one of the empty gold sand beaches in the morning, a nice walk in Lagos and enjoy the sunset at cap Saint Vincent.

A tranquil, serene and beautiful small boutique hotel with sharp modern architecture blended with traditional building materials, set amongst beautiful costal grounds. The design, decor, cleanliness, furnishings, gardens and facilities were first rate. The grounds are beautifully planted and tended and the lighting at night is spectacular. The staff were top notch and attentive and the owner was fantastic. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, wonderful tasty breakfasts, great location for superb quiet beaches and plenty of choice for local restaurants serving great seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Bicycles provided free for guests were a real bonus. We had a most relaxing four nights at Amaria, it was brilliant.

We had an awesome room on the first floor with ocean view. Very good breakfast. Beach Porto Grande is a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

Set in Aljezur, 17 mi from Lagos and at 1.9 mi from Arrifana Beach, Utopia Guest House features a unique décor, with soft colors and stone and wood details. The check-in went smoothly. The room was comfortable and bright, there was a balcony and a bathtub which was needed after a long 39 km hike.

Located within the South West Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, HS Milfontes Beach has a restaurant terrace overlooking Mira River Bay Beach, 328 feet away. The hotel had a live receptionist - not only an entrance door passcode. Just that makes the hotel exceptional. Passcode only accommodations are unsocial and need to be banned.

Located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, within less than 0.6 mi of Lighthouse Beach and 984 feet of Sao Clemente Fort, The Blue Bamboo Hotel - Duna Parque Group features accommodations with a shared lounge... Everything was completely OK :) nice, clean, in the center, free coffee + tea + juice. Reception available only in the afternoon, but we didn’t need it any other time.
