Hokitika Pioneer Hotel is an old style country pub with attached accommodations. With a casino, the property also features a garden. Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar. Staff was so friendly and helpful!! Best people we met in New Zealand. We had dinner at the pub, which was also very tasty.

Surrounded by natural rainforest on New Zealand's West Coast, Te Waonui Forest Retreat is a short drive from Franz Josef Glacier. Guests enjoy free WiFi. The hotel is in the middle of a rain forest. I just kept waiting for a dinosaur to walk by. The staff was AMAZING! Absolutely, exemplary! Five course dinner was delicious and romantic. Breakfast was anything you could dream of!
