Easy to get to after hopping off the midnight ferry from Wellington, and a text confirmed my room since it was after check in time. Heater was on, room was toasty and cozy! Only in for one night but will definitely rebook for a longer stay.

Located in the heart of Picton, this boutique hotel offers luxury accommodations with free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast. All suites include a plasma-screen TV and an iPod docking station. This is a very small hotel (only 3 rooms) which only adds to its charm. Its location in the centre of Picton is an additional benefit as it is only a couple of minutes' walk from shops and nearby facilities.The old world style of decor ,the large rooms which are spotless and supremely comfortable has to be experienced. The restaurant is closed for evening meals , but the welcome touch of a wine and cheese plate is a unique touch. Breakfast is offered and sets you up for the day ahead. I would love to stay here again.

Set beside Picton Harbor, this stylish and modern hotel provides a great base to explore the dramatic local coastline and New Zealand's wine country. I’ve stayed at this place twice, and both times they went over the top to accommodate my needs. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The first time I stayed they looked after my cello while I went tramping, and the second time they let me play their piano!

Picton Waterfront Apartments offer spacious, modern, self-contained accommodations in the heart of Picton. This is truly a stunning place! The location could not be better. We were laying in bed at night watching the ferries come and go. Early in the morning we just hopped down the elevator to go get a coffee from one of the many coffee shops downstairs. After a lovely dinner (also just downstairs at one of the restaurants) we took a stroll down the marina. Everything is within easy walking distance. The view from the unit is stunning and exactly as pictured. The unit is super clean, modern and comfortable. The couches in the lounge were very comfortable and could fit our family of four easily and comfortably. The two fully equipped bathrooms were so convenient having two teenagers with us. Directions and check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely book this unit again when in Picton. This was definitely one of the best, if not THE best place we've ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need, were provided -from a box of tissues in the bathroom, to a hair straightener! Thank you for making our visit to beautiful Picton just perfect.

Outback on Broadway offers accommodations in Picton, a 12-minute walk from Picton Memorial Park Beach and 0.8 miles from Shelley Beach. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking.... Was a flying stay.. arrived late .. left early. But the place is excellent. Very clean and all round good quality.

Featuring mountain views, Boathouse Apartments in Picton provides accommodations and a garden. This apartment features air-conditioned accommodations with a patio. The apartment was extremely well equipped and quite large. All the appliances were brand new, and the hosts had ensured that all instruction manuals for the electrical equipment were easy to access. The apartment was not located in the actual town centre which was a positive as it was very quiet, but was only a five minute walk through the marina to the town centre. There was ample parking space and there were a host of walking trails on the doorstep.
