Nice, clean, new and a well laid-out room! The staff was phenomenal and flexible after I mixed up dates. Super restaurant downstairs met all of our dining needs. Great pie shop around the corner!

Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. The hotel was 1930's, we love the style very much and the restaurant area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great size with lovely view and very clean

Built in 2015, Amberley Serviced Apartments offer 2-bedroom self-contained apartments in the country town of Amberley, 200 metres walk from a supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants. The apartment was a beautiful setup, and the owner was lovely. Great option and handy location in Amberley.

Located in Hanmer Springs, Woodbank Park Cottage is an architect designed stand alone cottage offering a log fire, sun terrace and BBQ facilities. Free private parking is available on site. Exactly as described and more. Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

The St James Premium Accommodation is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, restaurants and shops. Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains.... very modern and clean. great location

Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. This was a highlight of our 3 week journey around the South Island. We would highly recommend going out of your way to stay at Amuri for the quality of the service, the stunning views and the aura of serenity which you cannot help but be taken in by. The cheese platter and wine on arrival was excellent and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Don't even hesitate, book a night (or more!) here and it'll be a highlight for you too.
