The location is very scenic. To wake up to a sunrise over mountain ranges and the fields across from the lodge was a great experience. There was only one other family at the lodge on the night that we stayed, so we pretty much had the entire house for ourselves. The house was very well maintained. The library, kitchen, patio, the room, everything was just perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and cheese and fruits platter. They gave us great information about the area. Cheltenham House offers B&B accommodations with free Wi-Fi in a quiet central location. Hamner Springs Thermal Reserve is only 820 feet from Cheltenham House Bed and Breakfast. Exceptional host and a very warm welcome. We had a cabin in the garden so self-contained. It was amazing, being clean and very comfortable. It was cold during our stay and the underfloor heating was great. Excellent shower and facilities. Just a very short walk to the centre and many eateries. In the other direction is the sculpture walk in the forest as well as other trails. Very quiet and we had use of the garden for reading which was lovely. So glad we booked and would recommend.
