Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. It’s an old historic building with beautiful grounds. We loved that the hotel had different areas where you could have a relaxing afternoon drink. It’s centrally located and close to everything. Plenty of parking too if you have a car. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The location is very scenic. To wake up to a sunrise over mountain ranges and the fields across from the lodge was a great experience. There was only one other family at the lodge on the night that we stayed, so we pretty much had the entire house for ourselves. The house was very well maintained. The library, kitchen, patio, the room, everything was just perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and cheese and fruits platter. They gave us great information about the area. Everything was just perfect

We had a cabin in the garden so self-contained. It was amazing, being clean and very comfortable. It was cold during our stay and the underfloor heating was great. Excellent shower and facilities. Just a very short walk to the centre and many eateries. In the other direction is the sculpture walk in the forest as well as other trails. Very quiet and we had use of the garden for reading which was lovely. So glad we booked and would recommend.
