This is great stay specially with kids. It's got a games room and two swimming pools overlooking the front beach. The Restaurants, shops and peer is with in walking distance. A big up for housekeeping and the beds are a bliss to sleep on. I love the fact that our room has a communal basin (kitchen and bathroom Basin) outside the bathroom and that the toilette is separate from our bathroom which incl a shower and a bath. Reception and night staff is always available and very helpful will surely visit again when exploring the Bay of Islands.

Cute motel with sea views from the balcony, as promised. Very comfortable inside, well laid out and clean. The kitchen amenities were top notch - good quality provisions, and even included ground coffee sachets for the plunger! Comfortable bed and lots of extra bedding, with a homemade quilt on top. There were lots of other homey touches throughout the apartment. I thought it was great value for money and a great place to base ourselves for exploring the Bay of Islands.
It is an awesome appartement combined with a 5 Star Hotel service provided by Wendy, the very kind and helpful host. Wonderful view from the big terrace to the Bay of Islands. Excellent daily breakfast provided, including freshly baked bread/croissants, fesh fruits and yoghurt every morning. Modern kitchen with a Nespresso machine. Nespresso, Tea, Native olive oil, Balsamico vinegar included. Even daily cleaning done.

Fabulous accommodation here at Paihia Central Apartments. Everything you need for a comfortable few nights. Hosts are very lovely and helpful, views over the Bay of Islands are fab. We weren’t so lucky with the weather (North Island’s stormy 2023 summer) but enjoyed our stay regardless. Would recommend keeping your luggage light, as there are plenty of steep steps up to the house.

Annie was such a warm, friendly and helpful host. She welcomed us with a beverage, crackers and a delicious homemade relish. She went out of her way to help us figure out our plan for visiting the Bay of Islands. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with a well furnished kitchenette. The yard and gardens were beautiful. We highly recommend staying at Aimeo Cottage.
Ideal location as a base to explore the Bay of Islands. Friendly and very helpful owner operators. Clean, comfortable, good shower. Beautiful main building, the gorgeous grounds, and the location of the hotel are the best in Paihia. There is a beautiful pool and spa with incredible views of the Bay of Islands. You need a car if you wish to stay here. Paihia town is quite far. Waitangi treaty grounds are right next door. Excellent value for the room rate.

Beautiful views over the Bay of Islands. A 10 min easy walk into the Paihia township. 2 min walk to supermarket. Sunny 3 bedroom apartment was a good size for 5 adults with a lovely big terrace. Spa is small for 5 people but ok for 2-3. Having a bbq was perfect. Easy on site parking.

We had a wonderful stay. With beautiful gardens hosting native New Zealand birds and the Waitangi River nearby, the setting is both tranquil and picturesque. Conveniently located for exploring the Bay of Islands, the lodge ensures a refreshing stay and easy access to nearby attractions.

Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.
