Die Port van Cleve is a cosy hotel situated in the city centre of Enkhuizen, along the harbor. The train station and tourist information office are a 3-minute walk away. Classic Dutch charm in a great position. Thé staff were so friendly and all spoke English. Nothing was to much trouble.

Located 39 km from Rembrandt House, Heavens Hotel offers 4-star accommodation in Hoorn and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. One of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in. Incredible amount of $$ spent to beautifully renovate a church. Unique in so many ways. Must see it to believe it. Cherish at the front desk went out of her way to help us with a serious issue with the river cruise company. She made several calls and saved us from real problems. Rooms were perfect. It is impossible for me to rate everything higher. It was incredible!!!!!

Also I asked about bike hire in the area and she was kind enough to lend me one of their own bikes to ride to Enkhuizen. Lovely scenery with views over the fields of cows and nice a private from the other accommodations.
