This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. this is the most amazing place I stayed in Africa so far. the food is great, the lodge is very pretty and the stuff is very helpful. you can see animals so close - it’s unbelievable.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodations for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Nice place to be. There was good food and friendly people. The service was also very good. I can recommend

Le Mirage Resort & Spa is a unique desert oasis located 62 mi from Solitaire, Namibia. It offers luxury accommodations and gourmet dining. We stopped by a castle in the middle of the desert, without any booking, and immediately fell in love with this place. Everything is out of this world, cured with a lot of taste for detail. The rooms are spacious, comfy, well designed in harmony with the surrounding nature. The castle is made of stones from the rocks few hundred meters away. The food/chef are amazing and flexible (for vegetarians). Breakfast is out of this world. The view is breathtaking. We got a massage at the spa which was good value for money. Loved the vibe of the restaurant next to the swimming pool, again, great interior design with a lot of beautiful objects.

These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Located near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area. the property is amazing, the pool is simply mindblowing with the most epic view, but the staff is what brings it all together. they are kind, attentions, fun. the food is amazing and you can feed the extra care they put in everything. staying here was a heartwarming experience and made us feel at home.

At Kronenhof Campsites in Sesriem provides accommodations with a terrace, a bar, and a shared lounge. A sauna and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. We stayed at campsite #4, which had everything that we needed: a clean private bathroom with shower, toilet and warm water, electricity, lights, a big table with benches next to the braai area and a nice little swimming pool close by. The view, especially the sunrise and sunset, was amazing, and the homemade dinner in the restaurant was very delicious. Even WiFi was available at the main lodge.

A blissful experience that nothing can top. The location is amazing. Peace & quiet. The tents are far apart so you feel like you are all alone. The beds are very comfortable, as is the bedding & the outdoor bathroom was utter bliss.

I think they are the second best lodge in the Sossusvlei area, only behind the Dead Valley lodge which is inside of the national park. The last one is much more expensive and exclusive. For me, the advantage is that you can watch the sunset from dune 45. If you don’t really care about it don’t waste your money and just book Sossusvlei Lodge. They are 5 min away from the main gate, have amazing rooms and the greatest dinner buffet we had in Namibia.

A great stay at Homestead lodge, about 10 km from the entrance to Sossusvlei. Rooms are very comfortable with a beautiful view over the desert and its amazing sunsets. Sunset is also the time that the barking geckos start their tunes, first time we heard these soothing sounds. WiFi is available but with limited bandwidth, which is the case for most of the lodges we stayed in Namibia. Food and service was very good.

Loved staying in one of these cute huts in the middle of the desert. We didn’t use the braai facilities and but had dinner in nearby Sossusvlei lodge (sister hotel) which was a buffet and was very good. The pool and the bar were nice too. We wish we could have stayed 2 nights but could only get availability for one. The room itself is very clean and modern , shower was great, beds comfortable.

Lovely lodge, well located for Sossusvlei. Beautiful pool, easily the nicest I experienced in a whole month in Namibia. Accommodation was roomy, spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent.

Exceptional resort hotel. Room on first floor with balcony and sunset view. Wonderful staff. Delicious 5 course served dinner. Breakfast equally great choice. We only had one night but wanted two! Easy 20 minute drive to Sesriem entrance to Sossusvlei.

Exotic and idyllic location in the middle of the desert. Helpful stuff! Has been nice relaxing in the pool after a day in the desert. Pictures surrounding. We enjoyed the cheetah game drive and the fat bike ride.
This is a fabulously situated lodging next to the fossilized red dunes of the Namib desert. The gemsboks are attracted to the lodge and come in very close to its borders, allowing for optimum wildlife viewing and photography. The hikes around the lodge were very nice and there were many birds. The meals were very good and the staff are super friendly. The female chef was particularly charming and came out after each meal to see how we liked our food. There are two pools. A freak sandstorm with rain and thunder arrived suddenly one night at dinner and the staff quickly relocated diners from outside to safety inside and suggested we move our cars to avoid damage from overhanging branches. They were very kind and thoughtful.
I was in the hotel for the second time after 2017. the hotel is stil very nice clean and well maintained. very good food and the landscape is fantastic Nice pool to cool down as well We will be back

There was nothing not to like starting from heart-warming reception, and throughout our stay during which we were the only couple in the property, who were kindly assisted by some 20 staff members. This was just our luck to visit the place on weekdays and during lower season, thus we had an absolute privacy. Only us and nature! The chalets, restaurant, viewing terraces, and the pools areas were spotlessly clean, well designed, and professionally served. Great experience!

Spectacular! Everything about the space, the food, the hospitality was 11 out of 10! Newman, Abuid and your chef all exceeded our expectations. Desert Whisper is more than an accommodation, it is an experience. One we will never forget.
