Location is dreamy! Sundowner is absolutely beautiful, stunning! One of the best in Namibia! It is quiet, private, intimate! Food was good, breakfast was excellent, drinks are great and rooms are nice and spacious. We have not tried elephant drive, but if Etosha will be next destination, you will see plenty of them.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. The excursions are well worth it. Herman our guide taught us a great deal about the local wildlife. Seeing the desert elephants was a holiday highlight. He also took us to visit Twyfelfontein in the afternoon, it was quiet and a wonderful way to appreciate the stones. Again his knowledge was exceptional. The tents are very comfortable with a shower, toilet and WiFi. The food is all freshly cooked on site and the best we’ve had in Namibia.

Our stay at Huab Lodge was simply a dream! We were very warmly welcomed and the location is absolutely unique. The food was also excellent. Our absolute highlight was the River Drive. The nature and also the elephants were really breathtaking. What we really liked was how respectful the handling of the elephants was. It was left enough distance to the elephants and also respected when the signal came that we should "move on". Nevertheless, we were able to spend a lot of time with the elephants. You just noticed that they are free and wild elephants, which made everything even more unique. By far the best drive of the entire vacation.

El Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge está situado a 25 km de Khorixas y ofrece alojamiento en un semicírculo con pileta en el centro y conectado por senderos. Cottages are separate in their own little yards. Large room. The yards grow vegetables which the lodge uses for the meals. Staff are very good. Delicious buffet with game meat and a variety of vegetables. Maria, the server, was very good. Breakfast buffet is also good with a nice variety including hot food.
