EVERYTHING!!! Our stay in this place was literally perfect. The right word to describe how magical was this experience do not exist yet. The team is really amazing and make the difference! We loved Grace, Lazarus, Floyd, Georges, Makiti, William, has Chryselda, and all the others.We can't thanks them enough for all they made for us. The pool spot is really cool and watch a movie there under the stars in the night is crazy, you have the 5 stars service too. Food was really good. The rooms are simply beautiful, every details are gorgeous. The view from your room is WOW. What can I say? Don't hesitate, just run to that place that we can call paradise. This place is UNIQUE and the staff too!!!

The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

If you are thinking of staying in Luderitz then this is a “gem” of a place. The studio unit was perfect, clean and presented beautifully. It had everything you need , a small kitchenette with hotplate, microwave, fridge and an assortment of cooking equipment. The balcony gives you an option to sit outside and enjoy those Namibian sunsets. The shower had the most wonderful shower head with strong pressure and hot water. The 2 “angels” who looked after us were a real delight and know how to give the best Namibian welcome. These 2 young ladies also know how to prepare the units for guests and are a credit to the establishment. Thanks ladies … we will be back!

Canyon Roadhouse Campsite erbjuder campingboende i Karas, nära Fish River Canyon. Campers har en restaurang, bar, pool och aktiviteter. We loved everything about this place. The location close to the canyon, the decoration at the site, clean ablutions, nice pool. Good food and most of all, friendly staff!
