I would come back many times to have this experience again. The location in the heart of Ajijic and steps to the main square were perfect. I stayed with my husband and friends at Danza del Sol and the staff were so accomodating and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so much nicer and bigger than we expected. It was very quiet and relaxing. We had a very enjoyable stay here. Everyone could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend it but you do need to rent a car.

The hotel features independent villas in traditional style. Breakfast is good. The pool is big. There is a nice view over the lake. The staff is very kind.
We loved the breakfast! Especially the french toast and the service. It was fun to chat every day with Carlos and the other wait staff. The breakfast menu was varied and we tried several entres, liking all of them.
it was like a beautiful garden when you set foot in the place. it had its own little garden with table outside your room. the staff were so friendly and helpful. just were great overall

Very cozy and quiet Perfect for relaxing
Nice, large studio apartment style room with kitchen, living/dining area and private bath. Kitchen included a refrigerator, cooktop, toaster oven, microwave as well as dinnerware and cookware. The room had two balconies overlooking the pool and beautiful grounds. D’Shanti Restaurant is located on the hotel grounds. Excellent food, drinks, and service!
The bed and room were clean & comfortable. There was always a receptionist at the front desk so you could enter and leave whenever you please. The noise from outside does not penetrate within the rooms.
Breakfast at the restaurant was great.
