Everything about this hotel was great. Small boutique hotel 9 rooms only 7 of which are sea view we had room N02 top floor. Jero , Myra, Tino and the team are warm and hospital nothing is too much of an issue. All staff make you feel like the family. The facilities etc are great. Food and menu drinks, spot on you must try the Red Snapper. Outside short walk along the road- watch out not lit to all the many restaurants and street food market and stalls. The hotel is quiet and relaxing and far away form the banging dance music We were sorry to leave . will come back. PS GREAT COCKTAILS.

Aalada Playa del Carmen is attractively located in the center of Playa del Carmen, and has an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. I absolutely loved everything about this property. So much so that I stayed longer than planned. It is a small intimate boutique hotel, beautifully designed and very very comfortable. My room was lovely, and the wonderful Maria made sure it was clean for me every day. Changing sheets and towels regularly. Although the pool is small, it doesn’t need to be much bigger because it was rarely occupied. The lovely beds are a great place to relax and watch the birds in the tree opposite. The hotel is very close to town, everything is very accessible. The hotel gives you access to sun beds at a local beach club (minimum spend 300-500 pesos). All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily go back. A huge thank you to Maria for being so kind and attentive.

This is an area in the Riviera Maya, known for its snorkeling with sea turtles. Lots of snorkelers on the beach on a daily basis. The resort offers lots of opportunities for entertainment for their guests.
Compared to other places in the Riviera Maya that we have stayed, the beach was the best. There was no snorkeling however, so we took day trips to Akumal.
Small private enclave, very safe and secure and with plenty of facilities. Spent the day at the Omni resort which had a low season promo and had lunch there too. a variety of nice restaurants and bars to chose from in walking distance and all the sites and amenities of the riviera Maya are in short driving distance (or public transportation if you do not drive). a whole better vibe than Cancun or even Playa del Carmen.
Best reef along the Riviera Maya! I recommend to anyone who enjoys snorkeling.

I booked this hotel as part of a Riviera Maya tour for my friends who were visiting my family in this region, and they loved every minute of it. I have stayed there a couple of times myself and it never disappoints. Wonderful staff, big rooms and the nature trails around the grounds are amazing. We love the convenience of connecting right to all the parks that are next to the hotel. A great place for family and friends! Looking forward to another trip there in the future.
Puerto Morelos
Without any doubt the best stay and experience we had after traveling for one month in Mexico. If you dream about paradise, this is the place! So carefully taken care of with all the beautiful details, the attention of Rosario, Darío, Pablo and Luz Angélica, the temazcal ceremony, the comfortable tent (kuuchil), great dinner. And this alll surrounded by the amazing sounds of nature. A peaceful place at 20 min from the craziness of the Riviera Maya 👌!
Loved the peace and quiet of this location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Treat yourself to a meal at Playa Jaguar it is world class and worth every penny. You get to walk back to the hotel on the beach. It makes for a charming, secluded experience. You can imagine simpler times not so long ago before mega-resorts and tourist destinations dominated the Riviera Maya.
I've stayed at all five of the hotels in this Barcelo resort. I wanted to try the Riviera Maya even though it was more expensive and not positioned on my favorite beach. Overall, the hotel is very pretty, clean, and new. The pool area is nice and the beach was clean. The housekeeping staff and waiters were nice. There were a couple gluten free options at the buffet which was great!
Puerto Aventuras
The view is great, ocean view; however, there is no beach access from the property...all the beaches around are private property or hotels' property...the closest public beach with white sand is a 20 min walk by the Marina, so if you want to enjoy the classic Riviera Maya white sand beaches - you need to walk or drive to Marina.
Everything was great! Good food. Helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. The hotel is connected to the other 3 Bahia Principe hotels (Akumal, Tulum, Sian Kaan) forming a whole city of its own. Also, the hotel is within 1 hour of the most attractions in Riviera Maya and only 2 hours from Chichen Itza.
We stayed here during our honeymoon after getting married in the Riviera Maya nearby. It was a lovely hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is stunning, and the rooftop bar and pool has a great view out to the city.
well-organized hostel in a peaciful small city of Riviera Maya not overwhelmed by mass tourism. Excellent base for quality diving and snorkeling . Beds are confortable, breakfast is excellent, staff is helpful.
We only stayed here for two nights and the hotel has beautiful design and the rooms are super comfortable. Puerto Morelos is a really cool town and was a highlight of our Riviera Maya trip.

Papaya was located in a great area walking distance to a busy part of Tulum. Since the beginning, the hotel staff were very kind and happy to have us. We met with Javi (staff) and he was able to give us a great tour of the hotel and also of their great restaurants and beach clubs. Additionally, explained all the upcoming events for their guests which is a huge plus. We were able to be in close contact with staff at all times and had a great 2 day stay.
the rooms are beautiful and nicely decorated. the balcony overlooking the ocean is a nice touch.

The overall vibe, comfort and location was amazing, the private little beach is great and the staff was very accommodating. The restaurant was very nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. They had no AC but the fan above the bed was awesome and we didn't feel any need for AC
Xcaret deserves a 10/10 because this place really is something else. The people working there are incredibly kind. The premises are spotless and what you see on most pictures is really what you get ! The hotel has many pools and caletas along the river that surrounds it where it really is enjoyable for the kids to swim. The food in all restaurants was very good. The room was very nice. All activities were well organized by a concierge. There are buses to take you to the various parks included in the price.
