The entire fort area is walking distance. The property is a lovely quaint property with 7 rooms only. Newly built hotel so rooms and facilities are in excellent condition. Muhumad the manager there took excellent care of us during our 2 night stay.

Nice, small and quiet place, very clean and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms with all what you need. Comfortable and relaxing place, good food. Beach in front of the hotel and you can have nice beach walk in the morning or evening. They even have massage in the hotel and it is good. They also have tuk tuk to drive you to places around. And a small lovely dog puppy.

We had an amazing time at Panta Rei and even booked it again for our last couple of days in Sri Lanka. The resort is extremely beautiful with a lovely garden and pool area and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. It’s just a short walk to Kabalana Beach and it’s popular surf spot. Food options are also great and the hosts and staff are absolutely amazing! Everyone is super friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. We will definitely come back and would 100% recommend!

Green Escape Unawatuna has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Unawatuna. This hotel was sensational. The wildlife you see is incredible. Iguanas walking around and monkeys. The comfiest pillows and the friendliest staff. The head chef was amazing and super friendly and made me the best prawn curry I have had in Sri Lanka. He went out his way to make us traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. It is very safe and the little extras made our stay very special.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful; the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and in the best possible location. The breakfast was amazing, and just in general, all the small details made the stay extremely lovely.
