A former manor house dating back to the 18th century, this ivy-clad residence has been totally refurbished to provide the warmth of a country home with the style of a luxury hotel. Everything was great as always. The staff is very kind and professional. Housekeeping is top. Perfectly clean rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast is fabulous, all choices are delicious. Hotel restaurants are among the best in Ennis. Hotel is right at the town center, best choice for a nice stay. I have been guest at the hotel many times, since more than 10 years, it never disappointed. With its old and authentic look, the nice sitting areas at the lobby, make one feel like home.

Just off the beach in Lahinch, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a seasonal fitness center and a pool. Lahinch championship golf course is just a 5-minute walk away. The room was stunning and the tea/coffee facilities exceeded my expectations. I can't comment on the breakfast as I didn't book it but our friends told us the breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The restaurant is very good as well.

The Ritz House House is located in Lisdoonvarna town center and is a family owned accommodations just a 10-minutes drive from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Village, the Aillwee Caves and Birds of Prey,... amazingly beautiful little town. the BnB has a restaurant and bar in it down stairs so on rainy days you don’t have to go anywhere if you don’t want. two popular caves nearby and both are amazing. Also it’s about 17 minutes from the cliffs of moher. the GPS will say about 24 minutes but it wants to take you 7 minutes past it for some reason lol. Staff is amazing, and the Same people come to the bar every night so you’ll get familiar with their faces. A really nice place to stay.

Turlough
Our hosts were so gracious and accommodating! A lovely hospitable family to stay with. Their B&B was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were roomy and with very comfortable beds. The location and views are peaceful and beautiful. You're surrounded by picturesque Ireland, including sweet farm animals. What a traveler is really looking for. Pictures don't do it justice. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend staying at the Burren Rock Farmhouse B&B!
The view from the hotel's lounges and breakfast area is absolutely beautiful, with the Cliffs of Moher just off in the distance. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and served fast, which gave us that much more time to head out and explore the Burren! Laundry service was available (extra fee, but reasonable) and although they said it might be the next day before it was delivered, we got it back that night. Beer & wine are available in the ground floor lounge and are not overpriced.
Doolin
We loved our stay at Mary's Meadow. The cottage is charming, very clean and well supplied. It was really cold outside but the house heated up nicely. Heaps of space (there were only two of us but it would have been comfortable for a family). Lovely view from the living room to the coast. Very handy to Doolin village (great base for visiting Aran Island, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher). Having a washing machine and large drying rack was good. Security deposit was returned promptly.
Liscannor
On our travels around Ireland, this was a little oasis of luxury. Room was fabulous, a real step up from the norm with great view. Jonny was really helpful both before we arrived, with suggestions for visiting Cliffs of Moher, and booking local restaurant. Also really pleased we followed his advice to visit the Burren, which wasn't in our plans, but turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The continental breakfast was a delight, with local and homemade goodies.

Top rate facility!! The room was so comfortable and clean. Everything was easily accessible. The breakfast was huge and delicious!! The family who run Cappabhaile House were SO helpful and gracious. They made the stay like coming home! 1000% would go back there and will recommend to anyone who is going up the west coast of Ireland. Ideally situated for trips to the Aran islands, the Burren, Doolin and Galway.
Ballyvaughan
Everything. the location was perfect right across from the pier. the restaurant was really great and the room was amazing. beds very comfy. we didn’t get to explore the town but it looked great. Some nice shops, bars, and restaurants. Right in the Burren so great for walks and hiking although we did not have time for that. Next time we are in Ireland we will be back here and stay at the Monks.
Ballyvaughan
Location was ideal for exploring the burren, half way between lissdoonvarna and ballyvaughan, so many options of things to do, perfect for families, our daughter loved being able to meet the other children and play with them and we were happy to let her with the grounds being so safe. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Apartment was spotlessly clean, and provided everything you would need,
The location is perfect for everyone who looks for a peaceful place in that corner of Ireland. The structure is far less than 15 minutes from the cliffs of Moher and very close to the gate of the Burren's national park as well. The staff was very kind and helpful and they gave us some gaelic lesson! A free park is available close to the hotel.
Ballyvaughan
Super unique stay. The hotel was right above a mountain spring so you could get fresh spring water directly from the source. Family room was spacious and breakfast was a fantastic spread. The self-service bar and cozy library were added bonuses! And it's nestled right in the burren, making for stunning drives every time we left the hotel!
Doolin
Fantastic location, Jackie and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. The location is within easy walking distance of the Burren Way trail and spectacular views of the Cliffs of Moher. The small town of Doolin had every convenience a traveler could need, including several lively pubs with good music.
Lisdoonvarna
Host was friendly and accommodating. Beds were super and the room was spacious. Location was great as it was less than ten minutes walk to go for supper. Continental breakfast was lovely with the option of adding a cooked version as well. Close to the Burren which was why we were in the area.
The location was excellent for exploring the Burren or the Cliffs Of Moher, which you can see from the hotel. The Staff and hosts were really courteous and a good laugh. The food and rooms were fantastic and even a beautiful quiet room for reading or relaxing with the fire on. Simply bliss.
The rate was very good. We were allowed to check-in 30 mins early. Plenty of room in the car park. Lots of towels and a big room. The location was great to access restaurants, the Burren and surrounding areas. Hotel food was fine, a little expensive given it was glorified fish and chips.
Lisdoonvarna
Mary is a wonderful host and has a beautiful home that she has turned into self serve apartments. The gardens are so beautiful and so many interesting and pretty plants and flowers. The location is perfect if you want to explore both the Burren and Doolin/Cliffs of Moher area.
Kinvara
We found the room to be suitable for our needs. We appreciated the nicely situated bathroom with reliable hot water. The emphasis for our stay in Kinvara was touring the Burren and visiting the Cliffs of Moher; the former was much more accessible from this lodging.

Excellent location to visit the Burren. The house was sparkly clean and very comfy and warm, great wifi, very well equipped kitchen with all that you need to cook. Great communication from the host too. It is one of the best place we stayed in Ireland so far!
