Rooms have a beautiful design concept and are spacious and very comfortable. Only down side: since Lombok is a Muslim country, the Muezzin calls several times per day even in the night. If you're looking for some calm and quiet, Senggigi is the place to be. Gorgeous beaches, not too crowded traffic. We went on a tour to see a few amazing waterfalls including the heavenly Benang Klamboe and Benang Stugel. Mataram centre is a nice place to catch up with the Lombok culture and the local market.

Turist area on Lombok that is on its way to be upgraded with new hotels & resorts, good restaurants & a few party places. Surf, dive & beach life is the main activity in Senggigi itself but easy to organize private tours or drivers to reach all around Lombok & the Islands gems.
Being a small tourist hub of Lombok, Kuta is great for a more quiet getaway. The surfing is very good, even in the wet season, however hiring motorbikes is a must in order to reach the waves. There are many bars with cheap food and drinks and the locals are all very friendly.
There are bunch of beaches nearby senggigi beach, especially if you are going to north Lombok.. Most of them are beautiful and peaceful. You can go there by motorbike (rent) its cheap. Senggigi also close to Gili islands..
Great little town for waterfalls and amazing views of Mt Rinjani. A bit sleepy during the rainy season but I personally found this endearing. Nice to see a different side of Lombok.
A must visit to Bukit Merese and Rinjani trekking. Kuta Lombok is the best place to relax after long days of trekking. Night time is convenient for local restaurants and bars.
Other then the good snorkelling right off shore, nothing was very good for me personally. Compared to the other Gili Islands, Lombok and Bali, Gili T did not live up to the Indonesian hype. Too many inconsiderate/pushy/self righteous tourists, very crowded, salespeople in your face 24/7, unethical and unorganized accommodation hosts & transport agencies, pricey restaurants.. just not worth the headache when there are so many other good spots in indo. Gili T is hyped for its party scene but you can get good party scene without all the above nonsense elsewhere in the country. In my opinion.
An off the beaten track place, there isn’t much to do here other than Rinjani, a hike and some viewpoints and a local village. Best to rent a bike and get around or have a bike for your whole trip through Lombok as transport is expensive for Southeast Asia standards here.
I stayed for one night in Lombok Raya Hotel Mataram and it was a pleasure. If you need some food to eat you don't have to go far. Across the street there was a Taliwang Chicken Restaurant(which is my favourite food) and near that place you can find Mataram Mall close to you. Getting around Mataram was so much easy, you can either walk the street or order a grabcar. But walking was good for sightseeing tho'.

Amazing Lombok Resort really went over our expectations. We knew it's going to be amazing and beautiful but the lovely staff and the welcoming Hotel Owners make our stay even more wonderful. They are super helpful and friendly but also very social to have nice conversations. We loved the location and its surroundings it felt super relaxing away from the hustle and bustle around green, lush nature and the local culture around. We definitely will come back. On a recent trip around the island we stayed at the Origin Lombok Hotel. The hotel exceeded expectations, if we had a little more time for our trip, we would definitely have stayed longer. Quiet and peaceful place with a very beautiful area, spacious clean rooms, delicious cuisine, smiling friendly staff. I would especially like to mention Febry the manager from the reception, thanks to him from the very beginning there was an excellent impression of the hotel. We will definitely come back again, next time for a longer stay)
Very beautiful, relaxing and private place. Beautiful nature around and the room we stayed in (due) was spacious and very clean, exactly what we wanted for this holiday. We love the private pool and outdoor bath and shower too. Hotel staffs are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, we really had a great time there. We wanted to stay around quieter area so senggigi was perfect for us. Quiet enough but still many restaurants and beaches around. Definitely recommend for someone who will go to Lombok.
We spent 7 days at SUKU Lifestyle Hotel and it was wonderful!! It is situated right next to some of the most beautiful beaches in Lombok. Restaurants, Warungs and small locals supermarkets are nearby. The stuff and the owners are lovely people which work hard to ensure you have an impeccable stay. I personally loved the minimalistic interior and decoration + everything was perfectly clean. We definitely recommend this place to other travellers who think about going to Lombok. The place is located far from the crowd. We love the silence. All we hear was the sounds from nature. We even had a beach for ourselves a private beach. If you like fishing it's a perfect place. Very close to Tunak Cottage you walk down to the beach for a swim or throw a line out. Very very friendly people at Tunak Cottage. Their smiles on their faces made us missing the place right now. Definitely when we visit Lombok again we go stay at Tunak Cottage again, no need another Hotel!

Aziz is a wonderful man who makes you feel so welcomed. It was lovely sitting with him and getting to know more about Lombok and Indonesian culture. He invited us for dinner and a trip to the local waterfall however due to exhausting we politely declined. Next time I’m in Lombok I’ll definitely take him up on his offer. The bungalow is beautiful, clean, comfortable and affordable. Aziz is attentive and ensures you have a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
it's the best choice for solo traveller like me, price was reasonable, ac was really cool, hot shower, nice pool and it's beachfront. i was joining the surf lesson with them and it was super fun. rent a scooter in Lombok is a must, and hotel provide us. Adam was really helpful, I think he organise everything we need as a turist, even if we want to extend our visa, he can handle it. Will recommend this place, you will get more than you will pay.
Kuta Lombok
It was a sparkling new hotel with beautiful architecture and interior design. Landscaping was still being completed but no doubt it will be stunning as the rest of the hotel. The Moroccan style ryad-like suites are so charming and so comfortable and private too. The lofty beds and plush pillow were extremely supportive and luxurious. What a great, exceptional addition to the Kuta, Lombok hospitality landscape.
It’s a very cosy place. The breakfast has different options you can choose from: English breakfast, Indonesian, waffles, and vegan bowls. It has a nice pool which changes colours in the evening. And the most wonderful is people who work there: kind, friendly and creating soul-warming atmosphere. I felt like home spending two weeks there. And very special thank you to Herry and Helmi, real Lombok pearls 🙂
Great stay. The most luxurious room I have had during my travel in Indonesia for a reasonable price. Clean and air-conditioned. The pool was also clean, which, from my experience , is not always the case in Lombok/Bali. Breakfast was a nice bonus and freshly made to order. The staff were friendly and efficient. Compliments to Tony.Marta, the host was very helpful and nice.
This beautiful place was a standout in my one month in Indonesia. If you are looking for an intimate (max 8 guests) and want to feel like a king or queen - I can recommend. Khophilauvillas is a gem that captures the essence of Lombok hospitality and life. You do need a car or scooter to access the property and do need to be confident rider but it’s worth it.
This hotel is amazing. The staff are so kind, and arranged everything for us. They arranged our private snorkeling, our boat to Lombok and our bikes. Everything is done with a genuine smile. The hotel looks beautiful, the roomd are so big and beautifully decorated. Pool is lovely too! Such a great hotel, I highly recommend!

My friend and I have traveled for a week in indonesia, and this is our last stop, a great way to end the trip and enjoy the tranquility of the nature. the villa is very well equipped with all the facilities you need, food can be delivered to your room. Hotel is relatively new, when we visited it was half empty so there was a lot of privacy. Everything was excellent, the fold amongst the best we had in lombok. Cherry on top was the pillow service - select pillows as you like 24/7!
