The elegant Erzsébet Hotel is housed in a classical manor estate dating from 1739, set along the banks of the Danube at St. Stephen Square. Lovely spacious room with large comfortable bed with beautifully monogrammed towels and pillowcases. Extra towels and dressing gowns provided for wellness rooms. Bathroom has lots of extra toiletries . Our room had trees shielding the window giving dappled shade. The hotel is set on the edge of the Danube so our room had a river view. The hotel has half board included in the price which included a three course meal(you pay for any drinks) .If more than 15 guests are booked in for the night there is a buffet. Breakfast was again a chance to order from a hot menu when less guests with plenty of things to choose from the cold buffet. The swimming pool is lovely.Parking in courtyard. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

An air conditioner it is installed in the room, a complete kitchen and the bathroom is fancy and quite big. The hotel has a spax with two jacuzzi and a sauna, included in the price. We have spent a very relaxing hour in that hotel's spa (no time limit but we arrived very late at the hotel). The breakfast is very good for that price. Unlike other hotels, you could choose an espresso, capucino or americano cofee at the breakfast. The cofee was very good.

Hotel Talizmán in the center of Kecskemét offers air-conditioned rooms with attached bathroom with free WiFi and cable TV. Some rooms also come with a balcony. Free parking is available. The hotel, although it doesn't show it from the outside, is modernly renovated and cozy. We chose it as a transit location and we liked it so much that we made a reservation for the return trip as well. The staff at the reception very polite and eager to help, they gave us all the information we wanted and suggestions to visit the city. A plus for us was the safe parking space in the inner courtyard. The breakfast was very good.
