Located 820 feet from the central square of Metsovo village, Asteri Metsovou offers traditional accommodations with stunning views of Pindos Mountains from their windows or balcony. The hotel is set in a fantastic location, overlooking a large part of the village and the surrounding mountains, yet it is at a close walking distance to the centre of the village and all restaurants/shops. The view from our room (with a traditional enclosed balcony) was marvellous. The hotel is built in the traditional style of the region with stone walls and wood interiors, enhancing the experience of visiting this lovely part of Greece. As the hotel is built on the mountain side, it is on different levels, with outside and inside common areas at each level - very nice to sit at when not in the room. Breakfast (very good) is served in a very nice area, traditionally decorated also. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with everything that we needed. The hotel also has a parking garage - very useful in Metsovo.

Apollon is a traditional building with a warm, family environment. It is located right at the center of Metsovo. Direct access to your room is possible through the parking area's internal elevator. The property was extremely clean . 2 min walk to the main center . Host was extremely helpful. Breakfast was awesome.

This is what everyone wants from a family-run hotel, the most wonderfully genuine people who embraced us as if we were friends. Angela, her family, and their staff are amazing hosts. The hotel is spotless with large well-decorated rooms, the best bed we have ever slept in [including our one at home], quality linens and big fluffy towels that were changed every day, great wi-fi so I could work, plentiful breakfast, and their cafe/bar area is frequented by village locals so you really feel part of the community. I had a rental car problem and Yannis was so kind to take me to the garage to get it fixed and even spoke to my rental company in Greek so there were no translation errors The location is steps away from the Perama Caves and a short walk to the lake, maybe a 5-minute drive to Ioannina, and close to a rural area. Honestly deserves to have a higher star rating. I sincerely hope to visit again, highest recommendation.
