The Resort is located in the heart of Kakheti region. stayed 5 nights. first booked for 3 nights to make sure that we like it. it was great and we prolonged 2 more nights. we did not have free time during 5 days, venue has lots of activities - tennis, pool, football and basketball statiums, bicycle riding, fishing, catamaran +++++ there are different type of restaurants - italian georgian, european... so with kids it is quiet good to have those choises. hotel upgraded my room from standard duplex to upper one and room was great with double batthrooms staff was great, handling any open question =) btw - you can do hiking to mountains without leaving hotel! fresh air, big lake, nice coffee.... only weekends are crowded, weekdays are amazing !!! enjoyed! many thanks to georgian friends!

The scenery was breathtaking; our room in the pottery-style accommodation offered stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains, allowing us to witness breathtaking sunrises amidst vineyards. The dinner was exceptional, with lamb and beef liver dishes being absolute highlights, complemented perfectly by their exquisite homemade red wine. However, what truly left a lasting impression was the breakfast spread – incredibly lavish, and enjoying it amidst such natural beauty was an unparalleled delight.

There wasn't really anything to do in Telavi. The museum and the medieval castle were both closed for renovations and will probably stay closed for a long time. The old town was pleasant to stroll in and the park was nice. There were good restaurants in the center. However, the city is fairly centrally located in Kakheti so it is a good starting point for tours.
This is an old Georgian city which preserved is uniqueness until today. It is located in Kakhetia, in about two hours' ride from Tbilisi. We took a car with a driver, but there are less expensive ways to get there. There are various spots for sightseeing and ancient buildings which I personally adore. We went for a walk, exploring the city and enjoyed every minute of it. I would also like to mention an old local craft of mending shoes and other things from a ship wool. These are very warm and healthy to were and are much more costy in other places.
Scenically perched on a hilltop with serene and breathtaking views, Sighnaghi is an ideal destination to get a feel for Georgia outside Tbilisi. Kakheti has excellent wine culture, great food, and beautiful nature.
Lovely location, on the cliffs separating the Kakhetian hills from the wine-growing Alazani valley. Splendid views. Even late November fog adds to the charm of the site. Good hotels ranging from the expensive Kabadoni to bargain guest houses like Tsminda Giorgi Apartment. The chef of the Pheasant's Tears restaurant, Gia Rokashvili, is one of the finest cooks in Georgia, and the wines are excellent. They have wines, both Georgian and foreign, unobtainable in Tbilisi. His sister's khinkhali restaurant is also quite good. On the other hand, the "renovation" undertaken by Saakashvili's government is quite artificial; the nicest parts are those dominated by the old walls near the Ethnographic Museum park and the main church. This restoration had the advantage of bringing in many amenities; advantages and disadvantages of a tourist town. Interesting museum.

Great location for exploring Kakheti. Lianna and her husband have been running the property for about a year and go out of their way to help guests feel welcome. They speak fluent Georgian and Russian and know a bit of English, but we used google translate on our phones to break through the language barrier. The place is very relaxed and we loved being able to use the kitchen and especially the pool. The dog and kitten were great for our daughter to play with. Overall a very satisfying stay 😁

Nato was very helpful and exceptionally hospitable. She stayed in touch with us throughout our 3 day stay in Kakheti and made sure we had everything we needed and felt welcome. The guest house is clean, equipped with all the needed facilities and has a terrace with tables, chairs, sofas and an amazing view, which is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend this guest house to anyone staying in Sighnaghi, best host we've had in Georgia so far.
This is the best hotel in Kakheti and one of the best in the world as far as I may judge, and I am a professional tourguide. High quality design Amazing landscape and view over Alazan valley Helpfull staff, all speak English. Mari, the manager, is an angel. Rooms are spacious with nice balconies. Great restaurant. Fantastic breakfasts with chacha. Swimming pool. Flowers, gardens, secret shelters for couples, hammocks, verandas, terraces. I would have spent a week there.
Super nice new hotel with lovely garden, wine cellar and swimming pool. Fantastic location, surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Stunning view of the 16th-century Gremi architectural monument. Everything was nice, great service, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable clean room. Good value for money. Food was delicious especially the BBQ ,,mtsvadi", and house wine, traditional red one must try. Perfect place to explore Kakheti. Would definitely recommend.

It's a beautiful Villa with a nice garden. From outside looks not as a Villa. The host is a very nice man. For welcome I got a good homemade kakheti wine. The rooms are big and clean. The communication is with his daughter possible. She is speaking german very well and english. He is only speaking georgian and russian. I am German, was alone on tour in Georgia. I am retired. Only 5 minutes to walk in the center of Telawi. I can recommend this guesthouse.

Great location for exploring Kakhetian qvevri wines. Comfortable guesthouse wine exceptional hospitality. The owners are a lovely family who provide excellent wines, food, and rooms. Their wines all come from the vines on the property or nearby, and they are made in the traditional qvevri method. The owners speak excellent English (and also Polish!). We are thankful to have met such nice, worldly, hosts with very sweet children.
Sighnaghi
Breakfast was very good with very generous portions. The hosts were kind and welcoming. We were given complimentary wine and coffee to the point where we almost felt embarrassed. Incidentally, the wine is homemade by the host and bloody delicious (you should really try the rich Georgian homemade wine culture especially here in Kakheti). Everything was comfortable enough. The views were good. Location is easy to find.
Fantastic Place to stay in the Kakheti Vineyards region. In fact, the hotel is so good that you don't feel like going out to Telavi or to any other vineyard. Can't expect anything more from a hotel. The Tsinandali Estate is a historical, not to be missed vineyard on any tour to Kakheti and to stay in such a wonderful hotel located within the estate is a dream. The staff are great and the food was also amazing.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay while you visit the Kakheti region if you want to experience true Georgian hospitality. The hosts are amazing and took such good care of us. We went on an incredible tour and had the best few days we could have had. I would give it a higher rating if I could. It exceeded all expectations and I cannot recommend it enough. I truly hope to make it back one day.

It more feels that you are at your friends house, rather than in hotel. It's very clean, beds are comfortable. The mountains view is great. There is only a 6 rooms and the host is preparing breakfast for you. All in all it's good for the price if you just want to stay for sleep. This is not a resorts in like others in Kakheti with pools, spas and restaurants, but thy will const few times more.
Cozy little guesthouse with extraordinary views! 5-7 minutes drive from touristic Signahi to the peace and quiet of a pastoral Kakhetian village. Excellent rustic breakfast, super friendly staff and nice room made our one night stand so special. Can’t wait to go back! Don’t miss a chance to take a short walk to Bodbe monastery right from the hotel. And make sure to book a table at Pheasant’s tears.

It is a tiny, lovely B&B type hotel which locates in very center of the town. Owner Gennadi is the kindest and friendliest person. And most helpful. We wanted to discover the Kakheti region, so he drove us around and showed the best places. Breakfast was excellent: local eggs, local bread and local honey. And there were two bottles of chacha, local moonshine, in hotel refrigerator for free use.
Super nice, clean and comfortable hotel; but most importantly, it is a budget-friendly place. If you want to go to a 5 star hotel in Telavi/ Kakheti, you would need to pay 10 times more. But if you want a good value for money plus comfortable rooms, clean swimming pool and locally produced BIO wine, I recommend this place without any reservations! And mountain view? It is really something

Super convenient since everything was arranged by the guesthouse, from our drive from Tbilisi to our sightseeing in the Kakheti region. This is a unique experience for travelers looking to get a sense of Georgian life thanks to the hospitality of the owners. And it's a great value.
Great mix of winery and hotel…nice tour and generous tasting by the owner (excellent english), picturesque estate, generous buffet breakfast, modern rooms with great views, swimming pool, well maintained hotel, restaurant on property with tasty espresso! location is central in Kakheti wine is delicious (winemaker is one of the best in Georgia)

One of the best places I have stayed. Very comfortable environment, clean rooms, hospitable host, best wine and delicious breakfast. A very lovely yard that makes you feel like you are in your own village and a terrace where you can enjoy wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. A good place to experience Georgia and Kakheti
I often travel to Kakheti and if there is availability in this Hotel , I always prefer to stay here as atmosphere is so warm, staff is very friendly, food in the restaurant Doli (which is located on the ground floor of the hotel) has really one of the tastiest food in Telavi. And of course the design of the Hotel is exceptional.
The location is great, possibly the best feature of the hotel together with staff professionalism and friendliness. Standard double room size is good, bathroom also is spacy and comfortable. The closet has an iron and a safe box. Overall, really good and decent hotel to stay for a few days if you are in the Kakheti region.
