Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were clean and cozy. Ample parking right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the center of town. Our room also afforded a lovely view of the lake. The front on the hotel has a lovely seating area and garden where my wife and I had an evening drink from the hotel's honesty bar (well-stocked).

A 5 minutos de carro do Lago Bassenthwaite, o Ravenstone Manor é uma mansão do século XIX situada em 3 hectares de terreno. The room was as we expected, with great views. Breakfast, dinner, cheese platter with our drinks upon arrival as we traveled the whole day, a perfect start of our stay. The staff was as friendly and helpful as always and when we had to book an extra night last minute we got the large family room which, although not the great views, you do get red robbins on your windowsill to wake you up which we loved. Hoping to come back again in September.

A homely home away from home! 5* quality and amazing value for money. They really looked after me and I loved staying there and hope to come back soon. I would highly recommend!
