Tobermory
Amazing service from the staff at Harbour Guest House as well as their sister hotel, The Western Isles Hotel. Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Would recommend it to other 20-somethings trying to find themselves in Tobermory!
Tobermory
A lovely stay at a super clean B&B a few minutes walk from the sea front. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses. On-street parking right outside and very welcoming hosts. Ate at the Western Isles hotel one night and at a local Pub on the sea front the second - both very good.
We had a lovely stay at the Western Isles Hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a great view and we had a good night sleep throughput our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we loved the walk to the harbour and all the quaint shops and the walk to the lighthouse is a must too!
Only stayed a brief night when travelling Western Isles to Wales, but Hotel is in outstanding location, all clean, all comfort of a decent hotel you can think off, charm and was truly pet friendly.
Perfect for myself as a base for work would also use the Caladh Hotel if I was on holiday in the Western Isles
Breakfast was well laid out and stocked nice hot breakfast… nice bar area and lovely diner in the restaurant
Room was large. Hotel very appealing.
amazing views, quiet, great food, nice staff
The room was beautiful. The grounds & lodge was stupendous. So beautiful. Room was spacious & had such a delightful view. Food was delicious. The staff was so helpful & kind. Loved the bar!
The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London. Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family. I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.
When I arrived, I was actually given a different room to what I booked but it was fine and I was refunded the difference. Meals were lovely but the staff were fantastic. So lovely, friendly and welcoming. It has been a brilliant experience and wee holiday.
Beautiful setting and wonderfully charming buildings and rooms.
The breakfast at the hotel was excellent! loved the location it was close to shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent.
it’s a special place from the castle itself to the stones and sea- magic ! so glad we could return !
You wake up in a cozy warm pod in one of the most stranded places in Scotland. From one window, you see the sun rising over the sea, from the other, you see a grassy hill filled with sheep. Life does not get much better than this! Iona pods is great price per value. The pods are well equipped and the beds are comfy. Even though the heater is small, it is quite efficient and managed to heat the place up nicely. The staff is super friendly and helpful. :)) For trips around the place I highly recommend taking a boat to Isle of Staffa. (and not venturing too far into the swamps like we did, the island is bigger than you realize) 😀
The pod was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy, water was hot, there was a heater, the pods are well-spaced for privacy, chairs were comfy, sleepingbags were warm, cider was cold. And it was nice and quiet - close enough to town, but not in the bustle.
Views over the golf course and across the water were amazing. Spectacular sunsets.
Very spacious room, the location was tight on the port, the front staff were very friendly and helpful.
