Tobermory
Amazing service from the staff at Harbour Guest House as well as their sister hotel, The Western Isles Hotel. Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Would recommend it to other 20-somethings trying to find themselves in Tobermory!
Tobermory
A lovely stay at a super clean B&B a few minutes walk from the sea front. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses. On-street parking right outside and very welcoming hosts. Ate at the Western Isles hotel one night and at a local Pub on the sea front the second - both very good.
Only stayed a brief night when travelling Western Isles to Wales, but Hotel is in outstanding location, all clean, all comfort of a decent hotel you can think off, charm and was truly pet friendly.
The bedroom was lovely but the en-suite bathroom was VERY small and needed modernising - this was disappointing for a good hotel like the Western Isles.
Perfect for myself as a base for work would also use the Caladh Hotel if I was on holiday in the Western Isles
Exceptional staff (especially Sam and Sue), impressively large and comfortable rooms and delicious meals, prepared with lots of love.
Very comfortable room, friendly staff and really nice breakfast.
The best Hotel on the island... incredible staff. Very warm, cosy, contemporary. Clean and the food superb - worthy of a london restuarant and 3x the price I cannot fault it in any way!
Beautiful location and gorgeous view, the staff were very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the waitresses and the bartender. The Room was really comfortable and clean, I felt like a princess. the best shower I had in the whole trip.
It was very clean, staff lovely and helpful and felt like a country house, bedroom nice decor
Beautiful setting and wonderfully charming buildings and rooms.
From the moment we arrived at rassay house. The warm family welcome from fraya.fin .Alice. and the wonderful lady of the house Lyn. Made me and my dad feel right at home. Great rooms Great breakfast . And 2 minutes walk to the rassay distillery . With options of tours and dinner reservations at the distillery from rassay house we were well looked after and will definitely be visiting again to experience the activities that are available boat rides kayaking and more water activities.
Room was very cozy and clean Complimentary breakfast was excellent, dinner very good Bowmore distillery is really close, within walking distance
Hosts were very accommodating of our late arrival time. We were greeted with a spacious tower room apartment with stunning views of the ocean from their cliffside property. The kitchen has been updated in the apartment and generously stocked with tea, coffee (Nescafe), and shortbreads. The local coffee shop on the property is run by the hosts and had a great menu. We were too late to sample the full menu, but the sweets were delicious. We were made to feel at home without the hosts being intrusive at all. Felt like our own little hideaway in a historic castle. Wish we had had more time and better weather to explore the property trails more. They have hundreds of head of sheep (and lambs) and Highland cows on the property, too. Our hosts shared a favorite local whisky sample with us as well and made us fans of Tobermory whisky.
Sustainable living. Beautiful facility. Great views. Great location. I loved everything about the pods!
The place is super nice, totally immersed in nature, but still super close to the main city of Portree (40 mins by foot and if you take the bus and ask the driver to be let down at wthe beginning of Braes road is just a 5 min walk). The owners are super nice and very helpful, I told them about an issue on a remote control for the telly and the next morning they brought a new one. The pods are really tidy and have all you might need of you're going camping. The central bar has local products (beer and scotch) as much as more commercial stuff.
The hotel is located in a charming location, surrounded by green fields, mostly arranged for golf, and in the distance you can see the sea. Although the hotel is designed primarily for golfers, I have nothing in common with this sport, but I still felt the energy and joy of being part of this atmosphere. The diner was very tasty and presented in an very elegant way, the restaurant staff very kind and polite. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, served in an place with a beautiful view of surroundings.
Very spacious room, the location was tight on the port, the front staff were very friendly and helpful.
