Just off the M8 motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, Best Western The Hilcroft Hotel West Lothian offers free parking, modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, and an on-site bar and restaurant. This was our first stop after flying over from Canada, so it was a great spot to recover from the jetlag. The restaurant was good and the location was convenient for going to check out the town and to get to the bus stop.

In beautiful, peaceful grounds, between Edinburgh and Glasgow, this 4-star hotel is rich in historic charm, with a restaurant, a bar and great leisure facilities, including an 18-yard swimming pool. Large property. Had a gym and a pool to use. Restaurant was good and they served a great breakfast. Rooms were spacious. Property is a short distance from the train station so can get into Edinburgh in about 20 minutes by train.

The Nest, Livingston offers accommodations in Livingston, 16 miles from Murrayfield Stadium and 16 miles from Forth Bridge. The apartment was clean and fresh and very well equipped. Parking was available and access was via a lockbox key, so very straight forward. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was free and worked. I would recommend staying here without hesitation.
