Great location...right opposite Shakespeare's place. We booked for a day but extended our stay to three days. A delightfully beautiful hotel with several common rooms and a beautiful courtyard garden in the center. The restaurant and bar are very popular on their own and highly rated.

Not only was The Lion a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds (and close to Stratford-upon-Avon) it was cute, quaint and so cozy. Mark (the owner) was incredibly nice and we loved our stay at his property. I can't say enough good things! He also helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Rooms are small, but well decorated and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious!

Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of culinary offerings, from the hot breakfast choices to a buffet of numerous breakfast items. Feldon Lodges offered a perfect retreat in the Cotswolds—beautiful grounds, tranquil surroundings, a golf course view, fantastic breakfast, and rooms designed for ultimate comfort. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful escape in this picturesque part of England.

Located in Shipston on Stour, 45 km from Oxford, The Bower House is Grade II listed building dating from 1731. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar. Breakfast was outstanding, probably one of the best fried breakfasts I've had in a long time. Food is sourced locally and was very very tasty. We were well looked after by the team, the room was spacious and very nicely decorated with a classical feel. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
