A contemporary boutique guest house set in a Georgian townhouse, Number 38 Clifton offers stylish rooms with views of the Clifton Downs or Bristol city center. the whole atmosphere of the townhouse, the location, the attention to detail in every single room made this the perfect stay. We only stopped over for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. A lovely finish was the outstanding breakfast.

We were delayed in arriving back to checkout, staff were very understanding and did not charge extra. Beautiful room with view over the estuary. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was great: walking distance from the train station. Towels and bedding were very good quality. The bed was comfortable and afforded us a restful night's sleep. Staff were helpful and pleasant....and breakfast was good. We appreciated the 2 large bottles of water in the room and that the restaurant was open for lunch at 3pm. This is the hotel we will choose when we return to Bristol.
