This family-run hotel is located in Newton Stewart, a charming Scottish town on the River Cere. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site, it is around 5 minutes’ walk from the town center. I was very comfortable and slept well. The room was clean and spacious. The location was great and gave me access to everything I wanted to do and easy walks to places for dining, shopping, activities and bus stops.

Me and my son loved this place, the owners are lovely, beautiful surroundings in the country side, our dog had a lot of fun exploring our own pet friendly garden which is all enclosed to each lodge privately, the hot tub was amazing and even though it rained here and there…we were able to still use as it’s got a roof to keep u protected, they even left us a little valentines card on arrival, plenty of extras u can get and great prices, no need to take wood as there is wood to buy at the lodge and not expensive at all, the fire pit is also lovely, my fave part at night, they also supply a separate bbq, we never used due to the time of year, highly recommend “the pub” (actual name) only 15 min drive and good prices if u fancy a meal out, our favourite trip so far and we’ve done glamping trips before, can’t wait to return, highly recommend :)

Great location between Wigtown and the Bladnoch Distillery. The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. My wife is a gardener and really appreciated all the fresh flowers inside. This was our first trip since COVID and we had some special needs that our hosts graciously accommodated. Best place we stayed during our vacation.

The view, the vibe, the staff and the food are all excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Perfect stop for a few nights.
