Wotton House is nestled in 13 acres of listed gardens in the Surrey countryside, 3 miles outside of Dorking. We spent an amazing long weekend at Wotton House. The hotel and its garden are magnificent, nicely decorated inside and clean. The breakfast is great, there is a restaurant inside and staff is lovely. They give you a map when you arrive at the hotel with several footpaths - we did them all during our stay and it was so beautiful and relaxing. Perfect for a countryside break away from the city. Plus, they have an inside swimming pool, sauna & hammam. 100% recommend.

Larger than expected hotel, it was like a labyrinth with corridors and stairs going in all directions, I even got lost going upstairs when I should of gone along a corridor then upstairs, there were signs ! Lovely original features. We had a lovely view (over the car park) of the Surrey Hills. Good size room Shower was good.
A treat and retreat! Beautiful tranquil surroundings, forest walks, lovely wines, farm shop, staff and gorgeous, cute hotel. A special thank you to Flori who went out of her way to look after me, I didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this Surrey hills gem of a place.
Lovely setting in Surrey hills. The waiter, Mo, in restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful. Pool facilities OK, but no staff to show me where to get a towel or describe what facilities were available ( I had to ask a guest in the pool.)

The apartment is clean, big and in very good condition. Perfect for a family or even a couple/friends looking for a place to base themselves in Surrey Hills. A nice home away from home.

Location on the Punchbowl - a walker's paradise. The hotel has lots of older world charm while supplying modern amenities. Large, comfortable rooms with big windows that open.
We stayed overnight to go for a hike next morning, breakfast included in the price were very tasty. Team on the side was very accommodating & friendly. We liked the place and we returned for a lunch after the hike. The food was delicious. I think one of best things about the room itself was the beautiful view of the garden. And the water pressure in the showers was amazing! Only advice, rent a car. If you coming on a train you have about 2km hike by the road to the Inn.

The Plough Inn was a wonderful little place to relax before heading out of town via Gatwick. The pub was wonderful and the clientele was friendly and fun.

Castle Mill is an original B&B with an authentic setting and, to our surprise, a modern and tastefully decorated interior. The beds are very comfortable and contribute to a good night's sleep. The breakfast included in the price is fresh and healthy. The beautiful garden fits perfectly into this extremely beautiful region of Surrey. For us it was a perfect starting point to visit Hampstead Palace and Windsor Castle. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including the pub right next door. Rick and Peta are very pleasant and interesting hosts!
