We had a great stay including dinner & breakfasts at the hotel. The top marks go to the staff - there were friendly and very welcoming. From check-in, through the whole stay - including dinner and breakfast. The hotel is nicely renovated, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The food was very tasty with and the whole place was very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - they have more options than traditional Scottish breakfast, all very good and tasty. We had a very relaxing weekend stay - highly recommended and well worth the money spent!

The full Scottish breakfast was excellent and it really helped to kickstart a few wonderful days. As ever, Robert and Amanda were fantastic hosts, as they have remained for the last twenty years or so!

We didn’t plan on being in Stirling, but it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The hotel is located centrally and the breakfast downstairs was delicious! The property has been newly refurbished and the whole place has been nicely decorated. It looks good and it’s comfortable. Doune is lovely and the hotel is a good base for travelling in Stirlingshire and Perthshire.

This are cute little hut like dwellings that seem similar to staying in a large size RV. Everything we needed was there and it felt very cozy. It was in a perfect location for walkers on the West Highland Way.

Gilly, who showed us round and let us in was just lovely. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. Quiet area but with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Ideal for groups of family or friends and of all ages.
