Excellent base for exploring the Northern Highlands. Excellent value for money. At this price in this location the only cheaper options are hostel or bunkhouse dormitory beds. Very friendly reception staff at check in and check out. For sure the room looked a bit dated but it was warm, comfortable and everything worked fine - couldn't ask for more at £40 a night.
very spacious apartment well equipped,3 bedrooms 1 en-suite, 2 family bathrooms, very comfortable apartment , parking space . Local pub downstairs, lovely village very kind and friendly staff. We had have an amazing time. Perfect quiet spot to explore the northern highlands.

Cleverly designed space and very comfortable. One of the best equipped self catering apartments we have stayed in. Good value for such a centrally placed location for the northern Highlands. Great Covid precautions in place and ample parking provision too.
The restaurant was GREAT!!! Food was delicious. Plus you get a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. One of the best meals we had for dinner the entire two weeks we were in Scotland! Also, the Old Wick Castle is just a couple miles down the road, beautiful!!

Driving through the Highlands, we needed a last minute hotel. 2 rooms were open and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious, even luxurious. The staff was great. And we had a lovely day at the beach.

The view was spectacular. The bath was excellent.

we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.
wonderful place, impeccable cleanliness, the very kind owner, magnificent lawn ideal for children, a gazebo with a brazier for making meat, small warm and comfortable huts, all truly magnificent. 5 stars highly recommend
