From the moment we arrived and found our names on a dedicated parking space, we were impressed and felt welcome. The receptionist was equally welcoming and helped us with luggage to our room as well as organizing a table for dinner and accommodating our dog. The location of the hotel is excellent on the main street of the delightful city. Access to parkland is easy for walking the dog as well as the Bala Lake and narrow gauge railway. We will be back!

Set in Bala, Ty'r Afon - River Cottage offers self-catering accommodations with free WiFi. The property features views of the river and is 28 mi from Llandudno. The accommodation was brilliant and cosy, and it had everything that you need when travelling with the family. The host came to greet us even though we arrived late and made us feel very welcomed. The cottage is clean, the beds are comfortable, and everything you need is provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provided us with some basics for breakfast, which was lovely! The location is stunning, we will definitely come back if we have the chance. Thank you very much for a lovely weekend getaway!

Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Loved seeing the little train from our bedroom window. Scenery was spectacular. The Bala House is located in Bala, just 24 miles from Lake Vyrnwy and 28 miles from Chirk Castle. With free private parking, the property is 29 miles from Portmeirion and 23 miles from Horseshoe Pass.... Lovely house, very well furnished, from dishwasher to mugs and pans. Every bedroom has everything you need. Everything is cosy and clean. The house is futhermore centraly located but in a very quiet street. You can easyly access pubs and shops, there are just around the corner.

This is the second time we've stayed at Snowdonia Cottage (Glyn Mawr).. It is a beautiful cottage in an absolutely stunning and quiet location. If you want total seclusion and tranquillity, this is it. Simon is a great host/owner who is very quick to respond to any requests via the app. Donna, the housekeeper, is lovely, and she works very hard to ensure the property is immaculately kept. The cottage is minimally furnished, but to a very high standard of quality, comfort, and finish... To be honest there isn't anything that could top it; it's near on perfect in our opinion, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

We booked this cottage on behalf of our site crew who were working in the area. The cottage was immaculate and the hosts are extremely attentive, friendly and very efficient.
