The Park Hotel is in a quiet area, in the center of this historic seaside town, half a mile from Montrose Train Station and the golf course. Everything all staff really fantastic

Near the town center, the Links Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant and free parking. Montrose rail station is nearby. Liked the hotel was close to center of town. Breakfast not up to our expectations. However, dinner was excellent. Our waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful.

I wasn't sure what to expect with part of the name being "rooms" and coming into reception behind the building, but it was just lovely. This is a lovely old hotel that has been fixed up very nicely. The man at the desk was so cheerful and helpful. There is a Thai restaurant in the building too that is loved by tourists and locals alike.. Our mattress was comfortable. We were 3 floors up that gave us a view of the lake there and it was nice to sit in the sunshine in the bay window

With panoramic views of the countryside, Kescoweth bed and breakfast is surrounded by hiking trails, fishing spots and cycling routes. The breakfast room is large, spacious and homely, with a wood burning stove, beautiful views and the walls adorned with interesting artwork. An old piano has been artfully converted into a bookshelf. The breakfast was delicious and well-presented. Kescoweth is situated on acres of stunning countryside with uninterrupted views all around. There is a small playground and friendly, tame goats for petting, as well as horses in the nearby fields. I would have loved to extend my stay, this place is so special and relaxing. The bedroom was very comfortable, spacious, with good furniture and very interesting framed pictures and memorabilia. It is obvious the owners are dog lovers as they have a wonderful collection of original paintings and drawings of dogs on the walls of the hallway and stairs. I left with a big smile on my face and a determination to return soon.

Esk House Apartment offers accommodations in Montrose, 5.3 miles from Lunan Bay and 30 miles from Discovery Point. The owner was very nice and helpful even when we had to change our check in time a few times! do recommend and would advice to stay for more than a single day!

Impeccable 2-Bed Cottage in Johnshaven is located in Montrose, just 15 miles from Lunan Bay and 31 miles from Beach Ballroom. This is a comfortable, well equipped and beautifully appointed cottage in an excellent location within easy walking distance of village amenities. The view through the windows is of the sea, just across the road. Johnshaven has a lot of character, and there are walks in both directions along the coastal path.
