As the center piece of Drimsynie Estate, this impressive hotel overlooks its own 9-hole golf course, plus Loch Goil and the Argyllshire mountains. I booked a room for my daughter and I to have a short drive (1.5 hrs) from Glasgow airport, not knowing the area was of such stunning beauty. We were so charmed by the area we had an early supper so we could have time to explore the beach and little community. Our room was in the main lodge had views of the loch, the beds were comfortable with good quality linens, bathroom elegant and well appointed, the lodge had large windows every to maximize the views, the staff were all friendly and helpful. What's NOT to like? This will on my list for a subsequent visit to Scotland.

On the shores of Loch Fyne, The Creggans Inn offers rooms with beautiful Loch and garden views and a restaurant. Argyll Forest Park is just 5 minutes’ drive away. Really enjoyed our peaceful stay here. Lovely location right beside Loch Fyne. Staff were most friendly and helpful and breakfast and evening meals were all excellent. Look out for dolphins and seals in the loch - just sorry we slept through the Northern Lights.

With a scenic, tranquil location in Dunoon, The Park Hotel offers impressive sea views and stylish rooms. There is free parking and a traditional Scottish restaurant. Enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel, beautifully clean room and well serviced, towels changed everyday and bedding every 2 days. Staff were brilliant and went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay perfect. Breakfast menu was varied and the food delicious and plentiful, as we were visiting family close to Dunoon our evenings were spent with them so did not have the opportunity to sample the dinner menu but it looked extremely good value with a wide choice of dishes. Overall a perfect stay, quiet area and a short walk both to town and ferry port and a very handy bus stop close by. Will definitely be booking for our next trip.

Located in Dunoon, 6.6 miles from Benmore Botanic Garden, SGE Esplanade Hotel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Really friendly and good facilities. I rented the single room - no view of the sea-perfect room with lovely updated show room. Bar and restaurant for dinner. Great price!

Royal Marine Hotel Dunoon is offering accommodations in Kirn. Built in 19th century, this 3-star hotel is within 6.4 miles of Benmore Botanic Garden and 8.5 miles of Blairmore and Strone Golf Glub. This pioneering young couple have taken on a massive job of returning this establishment to its former beauty. Room by massive room it’s being restored and it’s going to be amazing when they finish. We absolutely loved our stay here. Carpets, paint and the bathroom for room 9 are all almost new. The staff are all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed dinner in the bar and breakfast in the dining room.

This fine Victorian building is centrally located within Dunoon, and has excellent views of the River Clyde. Everything staff are brilliant 🙌

Clyde View B&B is offering accommodations in Dunoon. 3.1 miles from Benmore Botanic Garden and 5.1 miles from Blairmore and Strone Golf Glub, the property features a garden and a terrace. Nigel and Helen were amazing hosts and very accommodating when we were running late for check in! The accommodations were cozy and very comfortable, the location was stunning, and the food was so delicious! Would definitely recommend!
