The Yewdale Inn and Hotel Coniston Village is a located in the center of Coniston, within the Lake District National Park. For us the highlight was the food. Breakfast was great good quality produce and meal night before was best pizza we have had.

Located in Coniston, just a short walk the to village center, The Apartments Coniston features apartments, each containing lounge, dining and kitchen areas. This was a great apartment in a perfect location. Very comfortable and well laid out, and beautiful views from our windows.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountains, Wheelgate is set in Torver. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. We had a most enjoyable stay with Stuart and Sandy. Our cottage was nice and cosy (loved the sheep themed decoration!) and featured a well equipped kitchen (which we didn't use appart from the kettle as we preffered to visit the pubs in Torver and Coniston). Stuart provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning (we were offered a choice of salmon and scramble eggs and the traditional full cooked and there were fruits and joghurts as well as cereals). It's not far from the lake and ideal for hiking the Coniston fells - the Old Man of Coniston can be done right from the doorstep. We also enjoyed the company of Tommy the cat and the three very friendly Golden Retrievers after breakfast, so that's an additional bonus for cat and dog lovers.

Great staff at the Crown Inn - we have stayed here several times and always come back. The rooms are really nice, warm cosy and very comfortable. Good bright bathrooms, with nice amenities and reliable showers. good storage and seating spaces, and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Pub food is excellent, as are the dining areas - and always lovely dogs to talk to.

Stunning Holiday Home - Puddleduck - Centre of Coniston offers accommodations in Coniston, 29 miles from Wasdale and 29 miles from Askham Hall. Location and well equipped for a short stay. There was a problem with the keys caused by previous occupants but Adam went beyond to sort out. Owners extremely helpful.

The hotel and staff both amazing. Hotel is lovely, clean and warm. The food both breakfast and evening meal was beautiful and enough of it. Staff polite and would do anything straight away. There was a welcome box in the bedroom for the dog, biscuits, ball and poo bags. They welcomed our dog with love. Situated 10min walk from Coniston waters.Will definitely be going back.

The location. Close to Coniston Water and a few minutes drive to Windermere. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was very bad so couldn't avail of the hot tub. Food at the Hotel was very very nice and reasonably priced.

THE LOCATION IS WONDERFUL, THE HOSTS WERE GREAT, THE APARTMENT WAS AMAZING, CANT FAULT IT AT ALL, FREE PARKING, SOME LOCAL SHOPS AND PUBS, PLENTY OF WALKING ROUTES FOR ALL LEVELS AND CONISTON WATERS WITHIN A SHORT WALKING DISTANCE.
We are kayakers so the location of the hotel and access to Coniston Water was brilliant for us. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and informative.
A great country inn with a Brewery attached. Room's were well appointed. Good meals served, can recommend the porkbelly. A good selection of ales to suit most tastes. A good place to visit the Ruskin museum.
Everything was perfect great place to stay look forward to going again.
