Simple, clean and comfortable room. The host, Claire, was wonderful - great communication and she went out of her way to help me out during my stay (providing advice on local activities, storing bags, drying some wet clothes). Breakfast was excellent.

I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower. Mark and Karen were congenial hosts who were extremely attentive to my needs. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast of my choice from her menu. The location is a great choice for exploring the interior of South Wales.

We love dinner at the restaurant. It was the highlight of the stay. Food and service were fantastic. The room was great.

Set in Merthyr Tydfil, within 38 km of Cardiff Castle and 38 km of Principality Stadium, Howfield Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property. We enjoyed our one night stay with Howfield Hotel. The directions to access property was clear. The location was perfect. The room itself was very clean. I slept comfortably and there was no noise. The car park is only a few minutes from the hotel and all day fee was £3.50.

This former coaching inn is set on the edge of Brecon Beacons, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. The Angel Hotel offers a restaurant, bar, and free Wi-Fi. It was a delight to stay at The Angel! From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well by all the fabulous staff at all times of day and night. I can’t thank the kind man who helped us out in the courtyard at three o’clock in the morning and brought delicious tea and a cappuccino covered in salted caramel chocolate! Every part of the hotel is a magical blend of glorious architecture that has been there for hundreds of years and modern luxury. My room was the best! I wish I could have brought it home. With the exceptional en-suite. My bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was perfect! Every need was catered for to ensure the most delightful stay. The Angel Hotel is in the heart of Abergavenny, allowing such easy access to anywhere in the town. It was the best holiday in a place that I love. Staying in the Hotel made absolutely perfect.
